Tutanota has been good to use. You can use their online service, or download the source that they make available so you can run your own mail server

Hi there /g/ i just reinstalled windows cuz the pc shat itself and i had to do it.
Now there arent any drivera installed and therefore i cant connect to the internet.
As pic related suggests i need to find out what manifacturer is my network adapter from so i can install the driver. But i dont know where to look.
Bonus question. I found oit my nvdia driver from the windows.old folder, is there amy chance i can find there also the driver for the internet? Where should i lookin that case?

Hi /g/. My desktop computer is getting old, I had it for around 15 years, swapped a few of the broken components on the way. I'm considering renovating it (buying modern components) or alternatively buying a laptop - I have apple store credit which I can use for a MBR Pro or I can just buy some other laptop.
Why would I want to have a desktop over a laptop, considering i don't play "modern" video games, and do light video editing and some drawing? I also program a lot.

Hi ya'll. I'm wondering what the best minimal specs are for a computer build that is optimized for heavy use of After Effects, Premiere Pro and more Adobe software for 4K.
I've had used Mac's in the past during my previous internship and they ran pretty well. I was one of the lucky interns who had the 5K iMac. I'd rather use Windows, so I gotta stay away from that.
I just want a build that is ready for content creation and ready for 5-10 years in the future. Gaming is cool, but not mandatory.
