Did you put the socket protector in wrong?
Okay anons anyone done any GPU programming here with CUDA? Is it nice?
>>53905479
Cuda isn't bad. I use it for doing machine learning research using different neural network frameworks that support it. As long as you know c++ you should be fine and should be able to get it after reading up on it.
>>53905479
Not CUDA but I've done programming with OpenGL Compute Shaders.
Nvidia's Compute Shader compiler seems to suck ass though, and all my attempts to use it to speed up my calculations so far have resulted in slower code.
So meh.
>>53905886
>try to speed up calculations
>get slower code
Sure nVidia like to do this in all fields, it seems.

still in development but maybe the microchip for sea water desalination? also the terrapower nuclear reactor design looks impressive. (supposedly using the nuclear waste to produce energy for the entire world for over 1000 years)

Let's talk UPS, how much should I be looking to spend for an older desktop-turned file server that I really don't use much? Would a cheap one be ok or not?
Also when the power turned back on it made my dormant ThinkPad 600E turn on, why would it do that?

Might be cloudflare doing that, it seems like its masking ips which can be a good thing

Until it shoves different poster under the same IP.
Anyone know of a linux program where it checks for duplicate images in a folder? I have lots of pictures saved but I think I have lots of the same pictures saved also. I would be nice if it can also check images that are the same but different sizes. Or some sort of percentage match.
find -not -empty -type f -printf "%s\n" | sort -rn | uniq -d | xargs -I{} -n1 find -type f -size {}c -print0 | xargs -0 md5sum | sort | uniq -w32 --all-repeated=separate

Have you tried googling? Last time I needed a script like this, I did a google search and the first result was what I needed.
>>53905453
I'm trying to learn "Linux" and I just read about find, sort and uniq today, so I was hoping someone would answer with a terminal command like you did.
If you don't mind telling, how long did it take you until you knew how to use these commands in such a complicated way? And how long is your beard?
you have just entered the very heart, soul, and life force of the internet. this is a place beyond sanity, wild and untamed. there is nothing new here. "new" content on 4chan is not found; it is created from old material. every interesting, offensive, shocking, or debate inspiring topic youve seen elsewhere has been posted here ad infinitum. we are the reason for "not safe for work". we are the anonymous army. cross us and you will fail. anonymous is everywhere. you depend on us every day. we bag your groceries, we fix your computers. anonymous sees you before...

I live in the middle of the woods in the USA and I get a shitty DSL connection.
I live extremely close to a cell phone tower. It's literally a 4 minute walk from my house.
I want to get a better internet connection, so I'm thinking about getting a 4G LTE cellular router with an unlimited data sim card.
A few questions before I actually go out and buy this:
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
What brand should I buy from?
How exactly do I set up one of these? I've never done this before.
>>53905119
Can you actually give me advice instead of whatever the fuck you just posted?
it could work you might get a decent connection with it being so close. I'm staying at my dad's temporarily in bum fuck Tennessee and my 4g is definitely faster than his shitty Dsl, upload and download.
Do you have boost mobile in your area? You can join the sekrit boost home internet club by getting the $55/month unlimited high speed data plan, connect using a vpn + pdanet and get free home internet.

Seriously anon, that's the best pun you could come up with?
I haven't had a system with flash in 5 years. My video viewing is done on my WiiU through the YouTube app or Netflix app and my Android Kodi box.
It's fucking nothing!

Pick one
But the encryption IS open source...

So why would I use whatsapp over signal? It's great that they added it, but I still don't trust them because proprietary app
I spent $60 on this and I am going to post it every day until I get my money's worth.
