Because I need something that isn't painfully slow at multitasking for school.

If I use Windows ONLY for games (I do ALL my other computing tasks on another OS), is it beneficial for me to get Windows 10?
Also, if I have Windows 7 activated via loader by Daz, will I get an activated windows 10 after the upgrade?

Ehh, probably not just yet. There's still a lot of issues and bugs, many gaming related, that aren't resolved yet. The real question is whether or not you have software reliant on DX12.

I don't know, but I'd imagine that it would be. I can say for sure that going from an 8.1 activated with MS Toolkit to Windows 10 works just fine, as does just installing 10 and using MS Toolkit, as I've tested both successfully.

I bought a Pebble on eBay for $15 that was stuck in recovery mode, and it seemed to update successfully out of Recovery Mode. It then prompted me to connect via bluetooth to my phone and open the Pebble app.
Upon doing so, the Pebble app tells me my Pebble is in Factory Mode and needs to be updated.
I click the update button and all seems well until around 50% at which a caution sign pops up on the Pebble with the words "update failed" below.
Is there a fix for this or should I try to get an RMA? I doubt very seriously they'll give me an RMA, though, if we're being honest here.
I tried putting it in recovery mode, but that isn't working with it being in factory mode. Any help is greatly appreciated,

Try multiple times and with a different phone if possible. Flaky Bluetooth connections cause mine to do that.

I'm making an RPG, /g/
What's the best engine for it? I don't wanna necessarily build an engine from scratch, but I'm not too retarded to do it.
I want it to have support for image loading and animations, and the basic RPG grid if possible.
Currently I'm looking at XNA and Monogame, but if there's something easier I'd gladly look into it.
Also fuck pic related and all of its versions, it's the worst shit ever

Hi guys. So far I know C++. From C#/Java I would choose C# (am I right?). But well I wanted to learn some high-lvl language, like Python. Got through many online tutorials and here I am. Doing pretty nothing
What is Python desired for (inb4 go eat shit stupid "python is for kids" fags)? I am not asking like "oh, what can I do with Python", but what are the things, that are more often done in this language (like because its easier there, or libraries etc.). Will be glad for your answers

I've got a preliminary offer to go a 140-day state-funded employment training in either platform. The training programmes are almost identical. First 40 days of .NET or Java. Then 20 days of SQL, application development & testing. Then 20 days of either .NET C# MVC or Java Enterprise.
Last of all is 60 days of internship at some company.
What can I expect programming-wise? Are both platforms "multi-tools". Or is one platform more geared for specific uses than the other. (Barring the question that .NET only runs on Windows.)

Once you understand MVC pattern, RESTful interfaces and either C# or Java you know how to build applications in both.
