Okay I really like Windows 10 and I am ashamed of it but what can I do to make /g/ slightly approve to Windows 10? I disabled the dumb search bar built in, did some customizing. I kind of want to sign in with a live account and do backups but that makes me nervous? Any suggestions and how to make Windows 10 ever better than just performance?

Install classic shell and try to customise it to look like xp.

Yeah trying really hard to make it look like classic. Copied the colors at least but no way for the true windows xp/windows 7 classic theme/skin. ;_;

Keep using what you like and stop visiting this board, users here make others feel bad for everything so they can have a false feeling if superiority.

hey /g/ anyone here use Broadwell processors? i have a 5675 and it runs games great with its integrated iris 6200 but it gets damn hot like 70c while gaming and stays there. Is this common with this processor? Is it ok to keep using it? You'd think the stock cooler would be deigned to keep the temp down but nooo. Ill need to get a cooler that can fit in a mini itx now.

also cute mini pc case thread.

Good thread.

Tell /g/ about your autism traits in technology.

For me, every server I administrate must be in perfect condition and follow RFC standards. I also can't accept a change to my programming code and progress forward unless it's perfect and correct. This is also what makes developing new software very difficult for me; I can't accept errors in the code, so I prefer to work on existing programming projects instead.

If someone doesn't do what I think is a best practice, I get really upset and angry. If I'm working with someone, everyone has to do the same as I do for myself to feel happy.

If I have a cosmetic scratch on a computer or whatever, I am probably going to replace it if I see it daily. I just can't stand it, it hurts. It took me over two weeks to adjust to a small scratch on my previous monitor, which was not on the panel but on the frame. I replaced the monitor some months after.

If someone talks about Linux being an operating system, I usually interrupt them to say "GNU/Linux" quickly and silently pressure them to use the right words. Same goes for "piracy" and other words that Stallman wants to avoid using.

One of my tulpas is scared of loud noises and she cheers for autism. I don't even. I'm not scared of loud noises (although I used to be while I was a child) and it doesn't even make me angry.

Despite all this, I am actually not clinically proven to be autistic.

Perhaps I'm not the only one on /g/, so let's hear about it.

I really really really like this pasta.

Can I save it?
>>
>>51607331
I didn't expect someone to think this to be pasta, 'cause I'm generally curious to discuss about this. It's not supposed to be about myself.

In what computer language are "corporate" games such as Ruzzle made in? It doesn't look like Java at all, and I heard most android apps are made in Java.

So, /g/... what's one of the better prebuilt PCs out there for gaming?

>inb4 prebuilt

Look, I'm not talking about shit like a Compaq Presario, or an HP or Dell or what have you, but PCs designed specifically for gaming purposes. Something that can run shit like Fallout 4 or Skyrim around the 60 FPS benchmark with no problems.

Is there anything like that out on the open market, or am I gonna have to suck it up and start building a PC myself?

So, I need a new chair.

I've read about the Herman Miller Aeron, not really convinced since people are complaining about pain in thighs. And since I'm from Finland they are not readily available. (only one reseller)
Not really sure what to think about the various gaming chairs either (Maxnomic, DXRacer).. Seems like they're made just to profit off the gaming community.

I need something with a headrest and lumbar support. Budget around $1000.
Any suggestions?

So my mom's 2012 Nexus recently stopped charging due to a loose micro USB port. Her previous tablet was a Kindle Fire that stopped charging, for what I'm sure was also a loose charging port.
I don't know whether I should order the part and tools I'd need to try to fix it, tell her to get a new tablet, or get a laptop. She'd prefer to have a tablet, since she likes to listen to audiobooks and standup comedy while playing solitaire or something similar in bed.
