Using Dropbox now - I used Onedrive for a long time, but they took out placeholders, and there is no versioning either. So I switched to Dropbox, because it is available on any platform. (And meanwhile I keep paying my Office subscription too, fml.)
Now, I pay 10$ / month for 1TB.
With Btsync, I would need my own dedicated machine, again, that's like 13$ with a 1TB drive.
Pros / Cons:
- I would need a dedicated machine that I had to keep updated, make sure the HDD is OK.
- Corruptions could happen...

Used it for like 2 months last year, but a lot of my files got overwritten by their older versions when they got updated. I didn't have time to babysit it, so I just uninstalled it.
Prepare to read up on linux file permissions if you're gonna run it on a linux server, because nothing works out of the box and you have to configure everything yourself. I guess that's pretty much expected though

I've stayed away from Firefox for a while now, because it's just been too slow to load some web pages. In the mean time I've been using chrome.
But, now I want to move away from google's botnet. What is /g/s experience with Mozilla forks? are they any good? What makes them different or better than Mozilla products? Which alternative is the best? I'm especially interested in what /g/ thinks of fossamail.

DX9 so that old gaming cards can run the benchmark.
Probably around Nvidia Geforce FX/ATi Radeon 9000 series cards. I don't think the FX line supported the entire DX9 spec in hardware, though.

Well look at it this way, the 4890 I own runs dx10 games about as well as my R7 250, so I'd expect a properly-kitted and mildly-OC'd A10-7890K to about pull even with a 4890...
Are there any Delphi programmers here? A firm I'm interested in working at has a job specification containing Delphi as a requirement, but I'm a bit at a loss at what exactly is the use of this language (not in a negative way). What language can it compare to and why is it chosen over that language? (The IDE is also very expensive, why do firms buy it?)

Practice with Object Pascal using Lazarus. Adapting your skills to Delphi won't take you long if you'll get the job.

It's just a 90s OOP that got marketed a lot in corporations. A bit like Visual Basic I suppose.
It's most likely chosen because they have always used it and/or their infrastructure relies on it. I don't think anyone compares it against other languages and makes a decision, their firm just uses Delphi and that's that.
