So I recently used the 3DMark to benchmark my PC with Firestrike. Turns out a score of 8700 is pretty shit on the percentiles.
Basically what I'm asking is, should I be upgrading my old i5 2500 to a i5 4690 + ?
If not, see anything bottlenecking my shit? Or is it me being a poorfag the issue

LGA 1155 mobo (new) for 50€
8Gb RAM (new) for 35€
Was the processor a good deal for such a setup?
Please consider that german ebay fucks you over with motherboard prices for older CPUs.
No name LGA775 or 1156 boards in a shit condition sell for 80€+ while 1155 can still be bought for an okay price NEW.
And I dont want to spend WAY more money on a shitty motherboard than the CPU. (Q6600 sitting at 20€ used)

If you still have your Compaq Contura Aero from 1999 in mint condition because you slide it into your bag and secure it instead of throwing it around like a frisbee, then get the Acer. There are no problems with even cheap laptops if you treat them properly.

I've been using Swype ever since I got a smart phone, since I thought it'd help me type faster. I think tapping -> word prediction might actually be faster than swiping and correcting. I haven't tried it out since I don't use my phone much, but most people I know seem to type faster than me on their phone.
Why are you even using swipe? You can't touch type on a phone in 2015? I can get up to 60 WPM on a good day typing on my phone in portrait mode.

it doesnt matter anymore, you arent going to notice the difference in speed or latency.
the only time you would go for a higher speed is if you are going to overclock, but even then its not really a requirement
lower CAS number is better but nobody really gives a shit anymore.
buying 2x4GB sticks is a bit dated, you might as well go 2x8 now. i mean i'm still running 2x4 and it's fine but i want to get into ramdisk shit in the future so 8GB isn't gonna cut it.
do those heat things at the top of ram sticks actually do anything or is it just for show?
