The 9590 needs a mobo with extensive cooling for the the power delivery and enough phases and chokes/mosfets etc to deliver enough stable power to the chip
Would not recommend using it on a cheap mobo for obvious reasons.
I thought you had to have a 990FX chipset? Did it work on a 970 chipset?
