Can I pool drives together under windows server without striping? I remember windows 8.1 let you do that using storage spaces.
Dog pussy.
Are there any benefits to getting a vasectomy over a full castration? My doctor told me a castration is cheaper and has less chance of complication but I wanted a second opinion before I go get one.
No homescreen thread? Let's change that

Bump
I sincerely hope you're not still reading this so called "tech site".
Also what do you think about the recent increase of censorship on twitter?
That author picture is so fucking cliche for that type of sentiment regarding free speech that it's honestly difficult to even laugh. What a pathetic human being. Holy shit.
I am curious to see what is actually being censored. Any examples? Never used Twitter so it doesn't affect me.

Why is there such a huge circle jerk for Linux and no love for BSD?
Because bsd is not such a clusterfuck
>>52454010
Literally no software supports bsd, companies don't even consider making a bsd port for their software
BSD takes real skill and intelligence.
Linux is hipster/poser tier trash, which is why NEETS here can manage it.

>Next generation processors, including Intel's "Kaby Lake", Qualcomm's 8996 (branded as Snapdragon 820), and AMD's "Bristol Ridge" APUs (which will use the company's Excavator architecture, not its brand new Zen arch) will only be supported on Windows 10. Going forward, the company says that using the latest generation processors will always require the latest generation operating system.

Holy shit. I guess Zen is a no for me, then. I'll be using Haswell forever.
Talk about your portable Macs here.
Which model do you have? Which OS version do you use? What do you do with you MB in general?
Upgrading my 13" retina to El crapitain. Wish me luck macfags!
>>52451957
Late 2011 model, 17" screen. Upgraded the HDD to 1TB and 16jeebees of ram. pretty comfy desu, still runs swell.
I'm really on the edge of getting a mid 2014 13" retina MBP. It's about 1k yuros from a reputable second hand reseller and according to them it's in a really good shape.
Haven't had a Mac before, should I go for it? I've been looking for an ultrabook for quite a while now and for the specs the MBP with its pricing compares really well
Will Zen save AMD?
Trick question. AMD is already the best.
IMHO AMD needs to die already so better companies can replace it

>f.lux is a program that reduces the blue light emitted from your screen, which has been found to cause a reduced secretion of melatonin and thus prevent the onset of sleep
Who f.lux here?
I figured I really should do something because my sleeping schedule is getting out of hand again.
Also, what app do you use on your smartphone for the same effect? I've tried Twilight, but dunno how it compares to others.
>>52450360
Placebo.
>>52450360
F.lux is a good application, it unfucked my sleep schedule somewhat. Twilight makes everything noticeably too red.
>>52450367
Placebos still work you know.
>>52450367
Which aspect is a placebo?
Have you tried it?

so, is this thing any good?
>>52444037
I dunno man, my wrist stopped hurting when I switched to a trackball. Maybe it's just because it engages different muscles and it will fuck me up in the long run, maybe it'll always be good. We'll see. But for now it works.

Why does 4chan hate indians in technology?
Pic definitely related.
Because they usually try to scam us, and are also very unreliable
>>52437758
Because they come in droves and have little to no individual creativity.
Literal code monkeys.
But mostly its hatred towards a system that prefers to import cheap labor over homegrown labor.
>>52437758
I have the misfortunate of dealing with another company on a project. The lead there is an indian and he cannot communicate for shit.
Every answer is a one liner and doesn't address the issue, he reiterates problems that have already been solved and always tries to make others fix his problems.
He's now trying to scam the customer into paying more money for no reason and we're trying to prevent it.
His application has no log files, no error catching and he denies all responsibilities...

If I have only C# experience (almost a year) can I easily get into html/css/js and front end web dev in general ?
Is it too much to learn or too diferent ?
>>52432612
It's easy.
Look on youtube "learn javascript in 13 minutes"
>>52432612
It's pretty easy.
Add jQuery and all you really need is append/prepend/html and Ajax ($.get of $.put), you're now ahead of 90% of magpie developers.
Also, onload function is virtually the "main" function for each html file.
