I'm looking for a headphone with a larger soundstage and less bass than the M50's, though not necessarily recessed bass. From what I've researched it seems I may want to go for the Beyerdynamic DT880 250 ohm or 600 ohm and an o2 amp. Opinions?

heard good things about the shp9500, recently tried on the 598's and will say they are very comfortable but i didn't get a chance do any real sound tests. Honestly they being $150 ish on amazon might make them a good deal. No info on the 558s i can give you.
