I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T520 with the horrendous integrated HD Intel Graphics 3000 outputting a measle 64 mb of dedicated memory? (dunno how to call it,it's in the pic related)
Now I've heard that I can increase this 64mb in the bios,which I can't actually. The solution could have been downloading the bios file and succesfully increase that 64mb with some american megatrends bios configuration program,thing is,I haven't got an american megatrends bios and I also can't seem to find my laptop's...

That's all that's being allocated by the system. How much system RAM do you have? I have a Macbook Pro 15 with Sandy Bridge and the HD 3000. When I had 4GB of system RAM, I had 384MB of VRAM and when I upgraded to 16GB of system RAM, I have 512MB of VRAM.

Right click on the taskbar, start the task manager, and then go to the memory tab.
Increasing the page file would only do things for low system RAM.

Depends. Mostly yes but you can also root your phone, install something like cyanogen and decide not to install gapps. Obviously you will lose all of google shit this way and will have to install apps manually from apk files or through f-droid (floss repository, same as play store except libre). Overall not sucking google...

Which Linux OS would you /g/ents recommend for running Gnome? I'm thinking either Ubuntu Gnome or ApricityOS but I'm open to suggestions.
Only experience with Linux prior was running Linux Mint Cinnamon on my old laptop for about 6 months.

eh, I've been experimenting a bit and Gnome definitely seems like my favourite DE.
Im trying to create a batch file which should delete the contents within the specified directory when the directory reaches 5 gigs. So i created a batch file.

However when i click the batch file. I see the cmd window flash open and close immediately. The file continues to fill up with the temp files past 5gb. What is my problem here. I cant figure it out. :( Any help is appreciated thanks!
