Can you shave your legs?

Honestly don't care about 144Hz as i'll mostly be using this monitor for work, with minimal gaming.

Don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, which is why I set the budget under $500.

Any and all recommendations welcome.

Pajeet poo coding doesn't.

programming requiring math is just some shit colleges use so they can get a few more thousands a bucks out of your pocket.

outside of a few instances why the fuck does math factor into programming much?

Why have AMD gcn cards aged better than their nvidia counterparts?

Is it because they have more vram?
>2gb gtx 680 vs 3gb hd7970
>3gb 780 ti vs 4gb 290x

Or is there more to it than just that? Do AMD drivers take longer to mature?
15 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
You wouldn't accept YouTube or Facebook comments criticizing your sexist agenda, so don't use them supporting it.
>>
AMD provides occasional updates to boost performance on older cards.
Nvidia provides an update to gimp older cards and then tells the owners to eat shit and buy the latest one.

how important is it that code "looks" good.
e.g. all indentation is aligned
e.g. standardized commenting styles

If anyone else has to see it then it better look good or be autistically efficient.
>>
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>
>>54695081
Well the only reason you'd want to make it look nice is so that when someone else looks at it, they can understand it. This is common for shit like you leaving a company and then 2 years later they need to alter your code.
It's mildly important. I recommend using really shitty formatting and maybe commenting in Spanish or some shit so that you're not easily replaced.

We dun goofed?

God tier method...

>AdAway for automated ad blocking at the hosts level. Does an excellent job blocking ads in apps and browsers, and updates automatically.
>Xposed Framework + Youtube AdAway. Blocks ads in the official YouTube app.
>Xposed Framework + TwitchNoAds. Blocks adds in the official Twitch app.

Other methods are...

Xposed + MinMinGuard...MinMin is supposed to block ads in apps only, and reclaim the used space that ads took up. I tried it, didn't work too well for me, and the white/black listing pages are confusing.

MoaAB: Mother of All AD-BLOCKING... I looked into this, though never tried it. It's a list of IP's you apply manually to update the hosts file. It looks to be too aggressive and may block sites you don't want to block, plus the support thread is ridiculously convoluted and disorganized. It appears to do what AdAway does, just you apply it manually.

List your preferred method of Android ad blocking.

AdAway, MinMin (which works perfectly, are you sure you had it set up properly) and YouTube Red which I got with GPM.
>>
>>54694940
Whats to set up? I installed it, and opened 3 apps that were ad based. It did block the ads, but it did not re-claim the space the ads used. So I figured whats the point of using it when AdAway will block the ads.
>>
A better solution:
Don't install apps from the play store, but use f-droid instead.
And don't visit websites that show ads.

Salutations.

I work as a Canadian Cyber Security Consultant.
I used to work for Robert Herjavec before I left to consult for the major Canadian banks.

I mostly do Incident Response type work and deep dive analysis. As well as malware analysis, reverse engineering, digital forensics, DLP, research & training, threat intel, etc.

Have something you want to ask? Shoot

Ok, anons. What's the closest thing I can get on Linux to look like OS X? I have a couple of things that might help.

Arc OSX GTK-3 theme
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Arc-OSX-themes?content=175536

As described by the website, an edited compilation OS X Yosemite theme for GTK and gnome-3.
http://ubuntufag.github.io/html/res/OSX-FINAL.zip

This is only the GTK, tho. I'd also like recommendations of softwares (like file managers) that looks the closest to the actual OS X file manager. Music players, etc.

Also the panel. Maybe MATE's panel can help on that regard, but I'd like some applets recommendations as well. Also lemonbar, which is quite customizable. That'd require some programming, tho. Which I'm not really good at.

Also, left-sided titlebar buttons. I know there's a way to mess with that with some gnome plugins but I don't really know.

Rounded borders. Specifically bottom borders, I never saw a window manager that could do that. Except for fvwm, but it has terrible anti-alias support, if it supports it at all.
>>
>>54694764
Also the dock. Forgot to mention that. A could dock theme + icon set. Breeze looks quite good, Flat Remix would be a good addition too.

Please explain to me the difference between:

1.) Software Developer
2.) Software Engineer
3.) Coder
4.) Programmer
5.) Developer
6.) Hacker

> Software Engineer
Tells the developer what to do
> Software Developer
Develops the program, designs it
> Coder
Implements what the developer gives him
> Programmer
Same as above
> Developer
Same as Software Developer
> Hacker
Does software development un-professionaly, software usually breaks after time
