Given a text file with a list of absolute paths to mp3 files, is it possible to play them using vlc in linux? Or any other player, doesn't have to be vlc.

I think most take that kind of input.
>>
just start it with that list as arguments
>>
yes. I don't use vlc, but even if a program doesn't accept playlists, you can use
xargs -a (playlist-file) (program)

>went through C++ until data structures in school
>never touched the language again since the classes moved to Python
What should I read after these two? I don't have an immediate goal, I just want to learn.
I have the /g/ wiki at hand.

I read pic related a year ago to prepare myself for the classes. I like it, but I would mostly use it for prototyping.

Oh wow, that's pretty neat.

On this thread we write code or pseudcode that behaves like windows:

function install_install_driver:
send_nudes_to_NSA()
wait_a_random_long_time_doing_nothing()
install_drivers()
traverse_inodes_doing_nothing_more()
allocate_memory_until_fill_whole_ram()
if unitary_random() < .01
BSOD()

I get a "CPU failed to overclock" error and am sent to bios when I try to start up after installing new RAM, any advice? The timing/voltage is set to auto, but it shows that they're at what they're supposed to be (9-9-9-24 and 1.5V).

11/10 shitpost but I agree with the sentiment.

I do all my C and C++ programming on a Thinkpad x140e. It has an 11.6 inch screen, an AMD A4-5000 chipset and 4 gigs if RAM (though I did upgrade it to 8 gigs). I run xubuntu and do the majority of my programming in Sublime Text.
