Is virtualbox not suitable to run any windows games in it?
I tried undertale, TIS100, some touhou thing - none of them worked. The only thing I can get running is RPG maker games.
Am I just having really bad luck? Is it stupid to want to play gamen inside a vm on linux rather than having the inconvenience of rebooting into windows to do it? Otherwise is there a guide which would let me get things like this up and running?
I'd like to hear any games you do play with it and what win version and if you needed any hacks to get it running. Cheers.

iirc virtualbox doesn't support 3d acceleration, even tho it has the checkbox, at least in version 4, I don't know about the v 5

My computer is from June 2006, nice named "The Steel Tank", prebuild Dell XPS 630i. My top priority is video editing with Adobe Premiere CC and Adobe After Effects CC. I also game on it, but mainly mid-tier standard games (I don't need to run The Witcher 3 on max settings or anything). What should I upgrade next to get the most bang for my buck? I'm not sure if I should upgrade the RAM or the CPU, but I just recently upgraded the GPU, replaced the case fans after they broke, and reinstalled my OS on a newly installed SSD. I have a budget of roughly $100-$150.

The 730 is ass-tier. It's below what we'd consider a 'graphics card' and is more like a video card.
Video editing is fairly ram intensive. Upgrade to 16 gb.

You can even go further. Have 1 drive with pirated win7 that is activated. Proceed to put it in as a second drive in a rig and use updater tool to install win10 on the second drive. Use the win7 drive on all the computers

Mine are 120€+ headphones and I had the same problem with the products of multiple manufacturers.
Get a wireless audio solution. This will always be an issue unless you buy top quality ones regularly each year.
