Why are you buying a CPU designed to be paired with a low end GPU and pairing it with a high end GPU instead? AMD CPU with anything over R7 is retarded, you can't even Crossfire the integrated graphics with it otherwise. It's almost like you have no idea what you're doing.

Stick with 7. I have 8.1 and it's unusable because of how the mouse pointer jumps all over the place. You can't use it for gaming, you can't use it for creating or styling graphics or anything that requires a steady or precise hand. It's a piece of shit.
What this can actually be? I've had installed the Freedom app, all this in background..

I say this having written Python for 8 years now. It's great for small programs; standard libs are extremely versatile; but package/dependency management sucks, I'm start to get sick of dynamic typing, and the 2.7/3.x split is still painful.
Java is a meme perpetrated by millions of companies that are stuck in 1995. Java 8 JUST added anonymous functions. Its type system is still busted.
Scala is the way to go. Runs on the JVM and you can use any Java libs, dependency management with maven or sbt is much better than pip, and the language itself is a fucking delight.

For that price get a Thinkpad X220. Both the Asus and Lenovo are awful with soldered in memory, awful 2gb of ram and non-removable batteries. These pieces of shit will be dead in a year.

I haven't opened my computer for 5 years. I checked inside last week - it was like a snowball. Cleaned up some dust with a fine brush because I dont have canned air. I never actually opened the tray of the CPU or checked if the dude that built my PC even applied thermal paste or hooked up the heat sink correctly.

what are the options an individual has when it comes to gpu passthrough for windows virtualisation? obviously im considering it for games. i know my cpu can handle virtualisation but i have read in some places that you need two gpu and in others that you only need one? is anyone here running this kind of setup?
i would consider using wine but every test on winedb has come out as garbage for the game i play the most..

You do need two display adapters; one to drive your Linux display, and one to pass through to your virtualized Windows display.
