Hello /g/.

So I have been working on a project for Shits n Giggles. Its a secure email service that's 100% free, and I was wondering if some of you anons would be nice enough to offer some feedback.

Site is https://0x40.co/

Invite Code is 8LCJM3C492C

Current features include:

Browser side PGP signing
Google Auth 2 factor support
Disk Encryption w/ messages in a encfs folder
Account Purge Support (coming soon)

At the end of the day I will remove all accounts and purge the filesystem, unless any of you anons actually want to keep your account.

So any ideas, suggestions, or whatnot?

How much space?
>>
Change the domain because right now my first reaction is that it's malware
>>
>>43003308
Currently 500Mb, but I hope to have more per account in the future for donators. That won't be until the project is live though

>>43003318
The reason for the 0x40 domain is its the @ character in hex.

> "All Apps"
> "Apps"
> Click it, suddenly metro all over the place

They're not fixing the underlying problems, they're just kind of inching themselves backwards, "sort of" fixing the things people complained about so that they can shut them up while still being able to play Apple with the whole "We knew what people wanted before they did".

People hated metro and wanted the start menu back. Microsoft told them to fuck off.
People started installing 3rd party start menu replacements. Microsoft introduced the NEW AND REVOLUTIONARY start button that was nothing but an on-screen superkey.

Now they're introducing the NEW AND IMPROVED TOTALLY DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE start menu that's essentially a stripped-down Win7 start menu with a "Shut down" button, metro tiles, an extra taskbar for gluing commonly used applications, and of course a shortcut button to the metro screen.

It's simple; Microsoft wants to be right. But they're not right. So instead of admitting that they're not right, they cover their ears and chant "LA LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU" until all of the bad people who doesn't understand how great they are, go away.

Hey.

My 21st is coming up, and my parents are getting me a new laptop. It's got to be <£1000, it's got to have decent battery life, and be <15" screen.

I am thinking a macbook pro (inb4 macfag lele) or a thinkpad, but I can't find a thinkpad that meets my requirements.

Any suggestions?

You won't get a good MBP for that much.

You shouldn't be spending more than half of that on a ThinkPad.
>>
oh, and by the way, I am talking about the macbook pro pre-retina, so I can upgrade HDD and RAM etc
>>

T420
or
X220

They only cost around $350 and they will outperform many modern macs because they don't use a voltage-starved CPU. Battery life are amazing on these models of ThinkPads, you can get up to 18 hours on the X220 with a 9 cell battery with slice, 15 hours on the T420 with the same battery options.

So has anyone here ever used EIEIO for Elisp?

It's supposedly like CLOS.

Seems like most "hackers" just use pre-made tools they don't even necessarily understand nowadays. I've been wanting to get more into security (network and OS for starters), cryptography, etc, and I am much happier making things myself. Is it still viable, though? I mean, would I be able to get things done in a timely manner, or would it be comparable to still using assembly for gamedev in the vidya dev industry?

And I make my own scripts when im doing something specific, but I mostly use the tools in kali + various other tools
