Why do we suffer massdrop?

They aren't really cheaper at all, especially since they charge you for shipping.

They are slow as fuck to ship stuff out too. This drop ended like early October for example.
>>
>>51352695
>buying from massdrop instead of amazon when you can
>implying amazon or another resaler cant order ~50 units to get lowest price from the manufacturers.
Only use massdrop for products you cant get from large stores faggot
Also shipping usually takes under a week

We need to hire a developer, a programmer manager, a database architect, an infrastructure guy and a system administrator, stat.

Oh, and we can only get one guy.

And we can only pay in equity.

Does 0.5% with an option to get another 0.5% in a year sound fair?

Now linux start to have better performances in games than windows.
How many FPS will we have once AMD and Nvidia release good drivers for linux ?
How vulkan and wayland will affect the performances of games in general ?

>inb4 /v/
I don't fucking care of the game. I find it pretty amazing that linux can have better performances than windows on this field, while we still have bad drivers.

They have been waiting forever.

>I find it pretty amazing that linux can have better performances than windows on this field,
But that's true for like almost everything linux does.

The ONLY advantage that Windows has is that developers develop things for windows, and then port them to linux.

According to reviews I've seen, the FX-6300 six-core is a three-core processor with two threads per core. Said reviews advised me to get a Phenom X6. /g/ posters told me later that AMD doesn't do hyperthreading or anything of the sort and that the FX-6300 is a legit six-core, albeit at a price that I think is too good to be true.

Which one should I get? Does AMD tell the truth about how capable the FX series is?

The core design is very weird. 1 bulldozer module runs two threads however some parts of the CPU are shared between the module. It offers more performance than 3 cores with HT but less than 6 entire individual cores.

In performance 1 AMD module is worth about 1.8 cores.

Hello all,

Windows has pissed me the fuck off by crashing to beat all hell for no fucking reason for the second time in a row. Windows 10's start menu is complete piece of shit and I don't want to go back to seven so fuck Microsoft, I am going to Linux. I am not a huge gamer and the games that work native on Linux in today and age will work fine for me. Wine will work fine for the few older classic I play so fuck Microsoft, problem is, I don't know what Desktop I want. So I figured is time for another pointless thread in which a bunch of Linux users prove their cock is larger based on what Desktop or WM they like. I like Mate a lot as I am a huge Gnome 2 fan but it seems dated, can someone recommend me a setup that doesn't suck ass. KDE and Gnome just seem like they try to hard.
