What are you working on, /g/?
So if yall had to write a web app (or something thats based on an ssh server), what language would you use?
Right now I'm working on my senior project, and I'm making a web app ((honestly don't even know what to call it, if it even does qualify as a web app).
Basically, its for elementary school Science Fairs. Right now, most science fairs have all the volunteer judges score everything by hand on paper, then after all projects are graded the judges sift through every paper to determine the winner for each category.
I'm using .php and .sql, and an ssh server w/ MariaDB. So basically, upon login you can log in as either an administrator (if you have permission) or a judge.

Do yall think theres a better way of doing this than in php (and maybe some HTML)? I'm pretty set on doing in like this, but what would yall do in my case?
I don't think its going to be that hard b/c I've worked w/ php a bunch (and am currently taking a class on html, javascript, CSS, and jQuery).

I have to keep my monitor low, if it's high my neck does this S shape after a while, at least it's a acceptable angle that way.
And yes, I have poor posture.
What I did is I added 5 textbooks under the monitor to make it higher. It helped but my neck is pretty fucked up already because I was doing the same as th OPs pic before adding the textbooks.

How's it compare with Nvidia's 3D super-CPU?
Intended for users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are three ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with GNU/Linux (not recommended)
If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted (recommended for pure newbies),
we recommend you use it exclusively for 2 weeks, and avoid Windows dual booting for that period of time, or it's
likely you will start retreating back to windows instead of getting used to Linux as your new home and working on
making it feel the way you want it.
