Why aren't you using the best new browser for iOS?

It's just Safari with a different UI.
>>

Because i don't own an iPhone likes every autistic should.

Sup /g/

Just been brought a Surface pro 4 for work.

Only problem is it's i5 4gb 128gb

Is this thing even going to be usable after a couple of months?

Should I stop being a little bitch and get on with it?

Would it of hurt them to get the 8gb 256gb upgrade.

i never get why most people need more than 100 gb of storage. i just have an external hd that all my archived stuff is on... laptop has some music and current projects. 30gb, that's it

i think the CPU will be outdated before you really need more ram
>>

>work

if you need anything bigger than an i5, 4gb and 128gb for work you shouldnt be working on a tablet computer.

as an accountant i'd love to get my fingers on a surface, but our IT department only buys iphones/blackberries for the middle management while everyone else still slaves away on XP and pentium 4s. we paid 50k € to get the programmers to adapt the corporate software everything in the company runs on towork on fucking XP.

Long story short. I got a phone that I can't use, and can't sell. What should I do with it? It's been completely wiped clean. No pictures, music, texts, calls, anything.

You just install it but you'll need a valid license for Windows 10 later.
>>
No not really.. Almost not legally, you could download a non offical Version

Okay /g/, so my school gave me access to Microspy Dreamspark and I have access to legit copies of Windows 7, 8,8.1 and 10 Education.
Since I'll probably need to pirate something, what os should I get for my new pc? Does w10 actually fuck with torrents?

>How We Talk About Diversity at Stack Overflow
"We have a Diversity and Inclusion Panel (DIP) at Stack Overflow — you may have read about it in Donna’s post on Why Stack Overflow is a Good Workplace for Women. It’s a grassroots, employee-driven group with volunteers from different departments with varying levels of seniority. We’ve been working hard to make our company one of the best places to work by ensuring individuals feel welcome, valued and respected."

"The panel was formed when a group of employees noticed that conversations were happening all over the company about diversity, or the lack thereof, both at Stack Overflow and in the tech industry. We wanted to consolidate the discussions and efforts to get everyone on the same page and make a bigger difference. DIP’s Google Group and monthly meetings served this purpose for quite some time before we decided it wasn’t enough. The conversations that we were curating were too valuable to keep to ourselves; the entire company deserved to be part of those conversations if they were interested. We needed to create a comfortable space for everyone at Stack Overflow to be able to engage with each other on diversity issues."

"Roughly once a month, we host a one-hour chat in our company-wide chat room to candidly and respectfully discuss diversity. It’s 100% internal and only for employees who are interested in participating. The chat is structured with 1-3 volunteers, who are arranged ahead of time, starting our discussion by sharing personal experiences related to diversity. Anyone can ask questions, offer support, share their own experiences, or simply observe. We chose our existing chat room because we wanted to meet people where they were already talking and eliminate speaking over each other. It would also allow us to save the conversations as artifacts that employees could read after the fact if they miss the live chat or want to re-absorb the information."

So, I got my hands on this thing for free.

It's a preassembled asus build, the overpriced ones you find at the mall, but the cpu isn't half bad and I'd like to try and make it better by adding/changing stuff.

It goes without saying, I'd like to change that awful r7 240 and change the whole ram bank into a better 16gb solution.

Any suggestions? What would you add/change? Is the motherboard okay at all?

How much money do you have to spend on upgrades op?
>>
>>51315646

I was actually saving money to build something along the way, and I still have a couple of gigs till the end of the month, so I'd say 500 to 600€ at least.

If you line it
>>
If you're a total stupid newbie with no prior experience I wouldn't recommend it. But otherwise go for it. It's the most UNIX-y distro in the Linux family and one of the most fun to set up and configure. Good installer too.
>>
>>51315612
I'm neither, I guess. I installed Arch a couple of times but I really didn't have fun with it. At the moment I'm looking for a distro to tinker with as a hobby, not installing a durable system.
