I'm about to install Arch Linux on my Laptop as a secondary OS. Any tips before installing this baby blind?

>>
Follow the beginner's guide and you should be fine.

Unlike Slackware, it really isn't possible to install it "blind".

Depends on what you need it for. I'd either get the Zenbook, or opt for a Dell XPS 13.

Well I got an hammer (the tool not the car) as a gift and I don't know what to do with it. Seems like a useless tool, prove me wrong.
>>
>>51590664
You two could come together and you could 'an hammer' the tablet.
>>
>>51590664
An hammer can hammer stuff.

What can a tablet do better than a PC (or a phone for when you're outside)?

What is your favourite type of flip-flop circuit, /g/?

I like the D type (simple, no bloat).

they are different for different needs...
>>
I'm confused, how can you call a D type a flip flop if it ony has one input?
How do you determine when you want to use it? Or is it live the whole time.

My favourite Flip flop would be one where S and R work as per usual, but if you use them both, it goes with the most recent one that was turned on.
Is there a name for that?
>>
>>51590441
JK is objectively best
But I always solved the problems with T flipflops when doing homework

I did this:

apt-get remove libreoffice*
apt-get autoremove

AND IT REMOVED MY ENTIRE FUCKING SYSTEM. Everything.

you can fix it with the following command

This should highlight regions based on the amount of open nodes you could spot if you were to stand in them.

It's got a tad of fine tuning to go, mainly based on the non community of my line of sight algorithm, but I might just pick another one though.

Hello, /g/entlemen.

I have been meaning to ask the hive /g/entoo mind what browser I should use to browse the dank memes.

With Google Chrome confirmed as botnet, Chromium confirmed to not be free of botnet, the Chrome app store confirmed to offer botnet extensions.

Firefox driven to the ground by SJWs, hurting devs, and removing features, and generally trending towards Botnet Ave.

Vivaldi, the last glimmer of hope, confirmed to be botnet way too soon.

Safari not available on Windows or Linux.

What browser are we supposed to use now to browse the dankest of memes with maximum privacy? I have been using CyberFox, but it's following up-stream Mozilla in their madness, so I am wishing to divert from Firefox for the time being.

Any Chromium spin-offs that are *confirmed* not to be botnet? Any extension that prevents other extensions from becoming botnet?

Help, /g/, teach me how I can run from the botnet now.

Sincerely, concerned Anon.

I have a black macbook (2ghz core 2 duo, 6gb ram, 120gb SSD)

it can't run OS X 10.11 "el capitan" because of planned obsolescence.

what's the goofiest / least retarded OS I can run on it that'll let me use it to surf the web? (ie a nice UI, good driver support)

all the Darwin BSDs I can find haven't been touched since 2012...

in the sense that an operating system won't run on a machine that's more than 7 years old, sure, it's planned obsolescence.

but if you see conspiracy there, then you must see it absolutely everywhere in tech.

don't be a fucking faggot, OP.

Wine can run many native windows executables
mono and coreclr can run many .NET executables

Windows cannot run a .ELF file, however. Attempts at emulating a POSIX environment within Windows are actually harder than the other way around, due to the nature of how CreateProcess (Windows) and fork() and exec() (POSIX) work. Implementing CreateProcess using fork() and exec() is trivial. Implementing even just fork() using CreateProcess is... difficult and inefficient.
>>
>>51589350
Right so Windows is gooder because you emulate it better because its developed better
Checkmate linux fag
