The YouTube app makes 2/3 of the screen white when watching a video. If you watch YouTube all the time, AMOLED is not for you.
Google, it's 2016. Where's the dark theme?
Lollipop has had a global dark theme for ages, OP
>>55558345
Not OP but in what menu?
My PC decided to install win 10 out of nowhere.
For someone who knows nothing about computers: is there any way back. Please.
kek. enjoy your rape.
>>55558273
You needed to make a backup before the upgrade in order to use the built-in downgrade option.
Sorry. Enjoy your better performance, though.
Delete system32.
What went wrong?
Is it dead or something? Hope so.
Anyway... what went right? Trying to build another social platform that's no different from anything else in an over saturated market.

Why do people like this guy?
>>55558410
He seems nice and his videos are well produced and fun to watch. Watching his videos every day gives you a view into an exciting life most people will never have and gives you the feeling of being his best friend.
Well /g/, normally I help a lot of people but now I need your help!

hi :^)
christ and i thought my PC was awful how do you even use that thing OP
I Recently bought this TekVisions Stallion PanelPC from a thrift shop for 20$. My plan is too put a newer motherboard into it, because it is 15 years old and has a Pentium 3, anyway I can't find the drivers for the touch screen. I already went to TekVisions website and looked for them there, I also called customer support and asked them, they didn't have the drivers either. Its either a Microtouch or Elo Systems touchscreen. Is there a Generic driver I could use, or is there any way to find the exact name of the touchscreen so that I can get the drivers for it?

Maybe.
Install Lubuntu and try it.
>>55557927
Thanks, I already took the old motherboard out, there is currently a core 2 duo in it, so I could use something besides lubuntu if needed.
Computer Technician here,
http://download.drp.su/DriverPack-Online.exe
Driver Pack Online has a million drivers. It might have what you're looking for.
Yeah you know how to install Arch Linux. Yeah you know how to rice your boxes with underage tokyo gals but.. Does /g/ even monitor?
Do you guys use some monitoring system? I'm intersted in your experience in a enterprise environment with tons of machines and services.
We use Nagios+QL graphical interface cause we are too dumb to edit .conf files manually. Company is asking to switch to a better looking user interface and decent graphs in order to impress customers so we decided to test IcingaWeb2 and its Director. And results are...well they're pretty decent.
What about you /g/uys?
>>55557653
We use Zabbix 2 because our managers want cute graphs.
I made my own monitoring solution as a school project once, it was pretty nice.
I don't use any monitoring software now but I discovered this the other day which looks dank

SSH and a terminal is all most people need.
Is it worth it getting a computer engineering degree /g/?
>>55557646
I would like to know as well. I just started going to school for computer engineering.

What is /g/'s general consensus on this distro?
Babby version of Gentoo.

Technically correct.

Is it any good for a slightly experienced user who hasn't ventured far outside of Debian and Ubuntu?
I thought it was all memes, but today I browsed his site and holy shit, this guy is deranged. This is what I know so far:
>won't use nonfree Javascript at Mcdonalds
>'yo send me an encrypted mail, but don't trust the key servers lol'
>if a software isn't compatible with some OS, then the OS is imposing censorship over what programs the user can install and is inherently evil
>not like it matters anyway, because anyone making proprietary software is scum and should stop/fail
>it is wrong to protect the authors' work with DRM, if somebody else tries to protect their creation, that's an attack on your freedom
>proprietary software is an attack on your freedom too
>people complained that they didn't want free music in their iThings, thus Apple is to blame, because they instilled such shallow thinking in their users
>in order to protect your freedom, some of the things listed above should be made illegal; thus removing someone else's freedom to do something (e.g. the freedom to create proprietary software and use it to generate profit)
>ideally, proprietary software shouldn't exist. thus implying that everything should be free software (Let's ignore the fact that 95% of free software is shit and subpar to proprietary software.)
But how can I even generate revenue, assuming that the mere act of asking isn't an attack on your freedom?
>"users can easily send authors anonymous voluntary payments." (This is literally what he thinks. Let's just replace a $400 billion industry with a system where people work for free and other people give them donations in exchange.)
It's clear to me that he's lost contact with reality at least partially, also he's a commie. I could easily imagine him becoming a bomber or a terrorist of some sort with free software as a political motivation. How come he's such a fringe lunatic but nobody seems concerned?
>>55557555
Excellent get. I'm proud.
He's right. Go back to sucking Apple's proprietary botnet dick.
>>55557589
Never used any Apple stuff.

Literally 90% of the time. Hacking is dead.

The bigger one, obviously.

Only if you're an autistic shit-fitter who thinks they are somehow standing out from the crowd with it's ridiculously pointless beveled edges.
That or you're from India/Pakistan and you've bought it to go with your oversize and spotlessly clean walking boots.
