What do you /g/uys know about good/longer-ranged bluetooth transmitters? I just moved into a new place, and the little dongle in pic related can't transmit a steady signal to any other room. It doesn't need to go incredibly far, literally just a room or two over. Any ideas?

I received a bluetooth speaker as a housewarming gift, and it sounds pretty decent, so I thought I could just move it from room to room in the apartment and listen to music wherever. Yes, I have a smartphone. And I fucking hate having to dig it out of my pocket, take off my glove and mess with the screen to skip a track.
Would consider a 4th gen ipod shuffle, but the clickwheel is somewhat touchy + itunes sucks monkeyballs.

I've used it for years. Buttons are big enough to use with gloves, and you can sort music in folders. No software necessary.

I have already a pair a audioengine a5+ for a couple years. Would it be worth "upgrading" to the JBL LSR305s - is the difference noticeable? My current setup is very simple: o2+odac analog output > a5+
I don't know what I would need in addition to what I have now to get an LSR305 setup working proper. I would try to sell the a5+, so that money would be available to buy additional components. I also have an old Yamaha CA410 I could use.

Hey /g/ I need some help with an issue i've been having for a while now. My video cards will randomly stop working, but they're still registered at the device manager and start up screen so it's not my pcie. This has happened with my 6800, 9800, 650, and 570.
I've tried wiping the drivers and reinstalling them, no dice. I've tried flashing my bios, nada. I've tried different drivers from the past to the newest. Tried formatting, updating windows, nothing works.
I'm on my mobo's on board gpu right now, and sometimes after installing drivers on a card I'll have it plugged in and everything but it will still start off on my on board gpu. I also tried disabling the on board gpu in device manager but nothing, I'd appreciate some input.
The only thing it could really be is a bad mobo or bad memory. Try running with different memory sticks and run a memtest. How old is the mobo? Does it have solid capicators or the ones that can bubble/burst?
