I have an ASUS G46V laptop. I can run Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto 5, Shadow of Mordor, Alien Isolation, and other games with little frame drop on high-ultra.
But I'm wondering if I will be able to run the new Star Wars Battlefront just as well (or lower, it's not a problem).

I don't trust Can You Run It because it told me I would not be able to run essentially any of these games I listed, yet I can play them all very well.

I really don't now much at all about specs, or how to calculate how they work, or really where to start to better understand.
I'm asking here because it's a site renowned for quick responses. Thanks to those who help.

How about wait until the game comes out first before asking
>>
You could've installed the beta.

And SW:BF runs perfect on lower end machines, my GTS 450 could even run it somewhat stable.

It'll work if you pick a common distro with good driver support. What are you looking to do with your Linux powered Surface Pro?

How does the 192kbps opus compare to 320kbps mp3 or to flac, /g/?
In terms of sound quality, of course.

What kind of retarded question is that OP?
Holy fucking shit, just kill yourself, it should be easier for everyone this way.
>>
Flac = lossless = source quality
320 kbps mp3 = low compression lossy = good quality
192 kbps opus = high compression lossy = nigger quality

Is anything unclear?

I've been running OpenBSD on a few laptops since 5.6, and am going to install it on a thin client I got from the McDonald's my dad runs as a firewall.

Shit's got a 2GB IDE SSD that draws power directly from the port, is that even a standard thing?

It might help people with transferring content from their phone to their dekstop, but I don't use those devices interchangeably.

This OP
Don't be retarded

I use a script that goes to all the channels I have "subscribed" to and downloads all the videos I have not seen.

using youtube-dl made it very easy to set up.

Microsoft is finished.

WHAT THE FUCK.
These cocksucking jewish subhuman niggergypsies force you to fucking install the fall-update for shitnows 10 which:
>reinstalls all default malware and bloatshit apps
>resets settings you made
like say hello to onedrive autostart and other shits
>again:
FORCES you to fucking reinstall the default bloatware.

I swear to god all employees of Microsoft belong in the same where Jews and Muslims should go: the oven. Like what the literal fuck.

I am done, installing Gentoo right now.

>it even installed OEM-bloatshit again on laptops
Is this even legal?
That's what I want to ask: am I dreaming, is that possible, what the fuck???

Is it ethical to use the NAS at work to backup my personal computer? There's plenty of space for both the servers and my own data, I just want to know /g/'s thoughts

Yes. This doesn't break a moral code of any kind until storage becomes scarce.
>>
>>51417434
wouldn't do it. although you may not be aware of it your work likely has a acceptable use of company equipment policy which forbids this sort of activity. doing that just gives the company leverage to fire you if they EVER become so inclined
>>
Using company equipment for personal purposes can be something your boss frowns upon. It depends on your boss. You could probably just ask him if you're on good terms with him.

Will you push the button /g/?
