SSD and HDD lag? I have my songs on my 7200rpm HDD,and AIMP3 on my ssd. When I play songs,it frequently lags.I don't defrag my SSD,only my HDD.Defraged but still lags. What do /g/ tards? Move AIMP3 to HDD or songs to SSD?

HDD a shit, everything to SSD. Never defraggle a SSD (only a tard OS would let you do that anyway).

Thanks anon for reply.I have a 256gb Samsung EVO ssd,and I have around 80gb of music files(flac,m4a,aac..etc) I'm now trying to weigh my choices.Listen to lag free music and have very little space left,or lag shit music but have some space left. What's your opinion on this, anon?
>>
no

if your music is "lagging" (i presume you mean that they take too long to start or that they skip), then it's something other than just the fact they're on a hdd

hdd's aren't as responsive as ssd's, but they're not nearly THAT bad

a typical hdd can seek to a song in about 150ms or less, then load the entire thing in a split second (a typical lossy music file is around 5MB, and a typical hdd can do 80MB/s+)

either it's a software issue (too much cpu load, player is fucking up, etc), or there's something actually wrong with your hdd (might be dying)

I bet if you are searching words related to violence and rape you also get more male examples. Which is also sexist and discriminatory, because women can be just as good as men at it. Why so much discrimination when talking about violence?

Thoughts on these?

I need them mainly because I live in a kinda noisy place and have to study, but I'm also interested in the sound quality.

Bose is ridiculed as the "no highs, no lows" company, which is pretty easily noticeable to anyone who experiences even entry level quality equipment from a reputable company, but conversely they seem to have the noise cancelling thing down. Whether they're worth the $300 depends on your situation; I know frequent travelers who swear by the things, but there's also a multitude of earbuds and plugs options out there.

If isolation is your priority, apparently their earphones are even more effective:

>>
Headphones ruin your ears

Invest in sound isolation
>>
The only Bose product that ever sounded good, and I mean truly produced fantastic sound from source material, was the original AM-5 AcoustiMass system which was really the first proper 2.1 system ever made. They introduced those back around 1984-1985 and they were just fucking awesome.

Everything before that and everything since has never sounded like much, typically way too much bass and midrange due to shoddy design (they had the right idea, they just never seemed to truly perfect it) with their acoustic baffles/tubes, and generally they are the Apple of speaker hardware:

Shit, without great actual output, and overpriced in extreme ways for no really good reason.

They do know something about noise cancellation, I'll give them that much, because they've been producing headsets for the aircraft industry for decades but when it comes to actual good sounding audio, forget it.

Their consumer hardware is shit, and again it's overpriced in the fucking extremes.

You should move on from them to something else, what that might be will require research on your part.

They jack up their benchmark scores by putting more cores than apps support.

Like AMD and the MOAR CORES approach, but they do have lower power consumption and heat output.

The phones however get awful third party firmware support, mainly because they are used in cheap chink shitphones, that arrive on the market with obsolete 4.x/5.0 android and are never updated beyond that. There are still chink phones selling with android 3.x.

Why are you so crap at using video editors?

Replacing my aging fx6100, stuck with this mobo, suggest me cpu for gaming between 8150 and 8370. Im thinking 8320 + oc. My mobo is sabertooth, so oc is no problem.
