My sister bought herself a Macbook Air, and it's given me my first chance to use a Macbook. I think it's actually pretty good. Why do some people on /g/ hate on it? Even I fucking did. The touchpad, screen, and keyboard are actually pretty good. It's very thin and light weight with a good aluminum build. I need a laptop that I can move around easily and take it to places that I might need it. I can get one of these for around 400 used, what is a good laptop for that or cheaper?
I'm currently using rn and the keyboard feels good, but I can tell that the quality isn't the best.

yeah, it looks good. that's the point of a macbook.
however, you'll find that the software selection is useless and it's almost impossible to carry around for the real portable use they advertise
get a used thinkpad for half that price and install gnu/linux

they are all fine, airs are some of the better cost ratio ones you can get, but the screen resolution leaves much to be desired. but considering how many people jerk off to x series thinkpads which have the same resolution, whatever. (yes i realize $200 vs like $1200 is something to talk about).
the problem is you end up spending like fucking $2500-$3000 for a modern mbp, and the screen is nothing special anymore so that leaves you with the trackpad.
yes, the trackpad on these things is worth a premium, but only to a certain extent. i fucking love the trackpad on my 2011, but i spent like $2300 on this fucker and then later added my own ram and ssd upgrade

I really want to get stereo mix working on my computer, so I can record my audio output.
I've tried all the usual (right click show hidden and disabled devices yadda yadda), and google can literally not help past that. It seems like it's a motherboard thing from some others with same "problem". My motherboard is an MSI Z87 MPOWER.
I don't really know anything about sound drivers and stuff, but here's a screenshot of my devices if that tells you anything. I'm not sure what is what though.
Should I try manually installing some new drivers, and if so, for which devices? What controls the stereo mix?

I've re-uploaded Clover to the Play Store again, see this link

This is a different package name (the old one was org.floens.chan) so it won't install over any previous installed versions, it's like a new app. F-Droid will keep the same old package name, no action required.
There are a *lot* of people still on v1 that they downloaded from the play store, these people have to download v2 manually. I can't update them because of the suspension.
This is going to be my v2 release post, that I would have made sooner if it wasn't for the suspension.
Why v2?
I've rewritten big parts of Clover in v2. I lost motivation to work on v1 because the quality of code wasn't good, especially in the UI code. I did decide to not just start from scratch because that is almost always a bad idea and that's why most "manager" classes are still in a bit of a bad state, but I've kept them because they do work even with the new UI components. I plan to refactor them later too.
My plan for the further development of Clover is as follows. I will probably take a small break from Clover to work on other projects. After that Clover will get a tabbed layout option, support for more sites, support for a quick go-to box and a full-screen reply layout. There are a lot of ideas on the todo list that I want to integrate.

Let's talk about cases. What we have, what we want, what we hate.
Personally, I want a full tower case, no window, with at least one optical drive bay that I don't have to open a fridge door to get to. Pic related is the closest thing I've found, but it's pretty ugly.
