I found out recently we have a local makerspace. Only problem is it's the only one and it's $100/mo. for membership. I assume it's for rent/electric.

Makerspaces aren't just for wood and metal work. They also usually have arduino/robtics, arcade cabinets, and various other electrical projects as far as hardware is concerned.

Many also have software programming/hacker counterparts, which is where I would most fit in.

Though, it does seem like few people partake in them overall :( Thank you for your input though.

I got an arduino uno. My dad found I bought one right after he ordered one for me. Now I have 2 arduinos and a digispark which is a miniaturized version of an arduino and uses a modified arduino ide.

So I'm building a progressive methanol injection system with one of them for my truck. The other I'm thinking of building an electronic returnless fuel system for my old 80s mustang. I'll use a pressure transducer to monitor fuel pressure and pwm on the fuel pump to regulate the pressure. I think I might add a map sensor to make the fuel pressure dynamic with the engine load, but that will be a future project. My current one is the meth injection for my truck.

Also Beaglebone black master race here.
>>
I did! I got the adafruit starter kit too, so I think i'm probably just going to do a few little starter projects that i find online and then afterwards once i have a grip on what i can and can't do i'll figure something out

(i would have started already but i wanted to finish my current project first...)

Also it was made as a network stream viewer, so shit like fucking pausing the god damn video takes a couple seconds just to happen. If you use VLC to watch shit on your hard drive, you're fucking retarded.

/g/, I think my mother is cheating on my father. How do I get into her computer to look for evidence?

The only methods I found only are ways to restart the windows password, but I don't want her to get suspicious at all.

Hello, I'm plannig on setting up a usb dead drop in my area but have a question:

Is it possible to make the usb drive automatically duplicate any files that are put on it and store them in an encrypted folder?
Because if I ever come back to it one day I could open the encrypted file and see what's been on it and that would fucking cool.
Whady'a think?

>>
>>45798326
With just the flash drive, which most dead drops are, no.

You'll need an OS for that. A Rasberry Pi or similar would work but emulating a USB storage device may be tricky.

My Zune 80 still works.
I'll never understand how people prefer iPods to this thing.

Had the original zune. I liked it quite a bit actually. The interface was very refreshing compared to iPod's tired old interface.

Wish I had gotten that model with the touchpad, scrolling through lots of music was the only painful part about the original.

I use a Thinkpad X60 computer, in which the FSF installed a free initialization program (libreboot) and a free operating system (Trisquel GNU/Linux.) This is the first computer model ever to be sold commercially with a free initialization program and a free operating system, and thus the first computer product the FSF could endorse. (It was not sold that way by Lenovo, however.)

Go compare it (k-lite or CCCP) side by side with VLC. Seriously, do it.
Find your favorite anime, preferably a decent BD rip, and pause at random places at the same time in both players, side by side. It is so blatantly obvious.
VLC mangles the image, and can't reproduce decent coloring.
