let me guess, you went to stackexchange or some other site and got BTFO because you were being a newfag and were told to RTFM.

Not at all.
I tell people RTFM when I feel like being rude, its a rude thing to say. If I feel like helping them I don't tell them to RTFM.

Dear /g/.

How do I properly deal with Windows 10 spying/data mining in general discussions?

I faced this problem few times already - when I try to convince others that they should at least feel worry and try to find solution to W10 datamining and such, they keep replaying the same arguments (in order of most frequently used):

>"Everybody collects your data, cut your internet cable, if you dont want it to happen" ( sometimes followed by suggestion that some softare is probably collecting what I type right now, so Im hypocrite, etc)
>"MS is doing this for purpose of making better software/everything uses internet connection for auto-improving" (usually connected with previous one)
>"I trust MS, they would never do anything nasty with my data or try to sell it"
>"Google/Apple is worse"
>"Linux collect data too"
>"Those URL you posted shows that nothing valuabe is being sent" (after I post links to articles like this Czech one or from Arstechnica)
>"Maybe you dont want it, but I do! I want my software to be improved and Im happy to help companies like MS!"

When somebody try to continue "discussion", they keep using the same "arguments", sometimes dropping "its good because its popular" talk or mixing what I listed here.

Im out of ideas and kindly ask for help.

Thank you for any replies, /g/, like always.

I would use f-droid. but I fear the apps aren't up to date or don't get updated as frequently as it is in the play store.

How do you organize your music?

A long time ago I used to organize my music (artist->album) but gave up because I didn't know how to fit albums with various artists in my collection and because they looked like shit in the foobar2000 library. But recently I've been feeling a dumb just searching through folders.

So, any ideas?

>>
I have a single folder that holds all my music sorted only by %artist% - %title%
All the tags are correct, so foobar just organizes them for me in the library view.
>>
>>50839431
When I was young I've organised my music like this: Artist/Year - Album/Song Numer - Song title.extension

And then I discovered tags, but I still have over 3000 songs organized like that.

Who is this semen demon?

Why does this exist
There was zero demand for it

And the few things it actually can do are done better by other applications

What was the reasoning behind installing this per default on Fedora

Its the best Virtiual Machine I've used.
I was happy to learn about it's existence but I am with you about being a default, even tho this is something I definetely want in my PC i can download it myself and shouldn't come pre-installed.
anyways you can try;
sudo dnf remove gnome-boxes

Isn't it just a frontend?

I have a theory mid term on introduction fedora 19 and linux in roughly 4 hours

I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called Linux, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called Linux distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux!
