Good evening /g/

I live in a nice flat, 3 rooms, 100~m2 and I need a good Wireless network card for my desktop don't mind if is internal or external. Router is in the living room and my bedroom es just in the other extreme of the flat.

The thing is, signal is fucking shit in my bedroom and pretty ok in the rest of the house. We're upgrading to fiber tomorrow and I need more than the 11Mbps that I got with my current one.

Help would be great :) also share your WiFi setup stories and problems if you want. I hate WiFi a lot but cable sadly is not an option here.

people always say ethernet isn't an option, but what they mean is "I'd rather have shitty internet than a cable running along the baseboard between rooms"
>>
>>54450021
I'm not the only one living here, and cant do it because the room distribution make it difficult as fuck to hidden a cable.

Trust me I fucking hate wifi.

Just wait for Volta. Nvidia already confirmed it's more powerful than Pascal.

hey guys, how can I get more botnet, out of my botnet, i've got a really big fetish about seeing giant jew corporations look at all the cuckoldry porn I download to my computer, idk why but it just makes me aroused, same with bernie sanders, I just cant get enough of the old jew, maybe its because my fathers neglected me as a child, but I just need attention, and the fastest way I can be sure that someones watching me, is by downloading windows 10, sorry I meant UPGRADING to windows 10.

Does Android seriously still have no secure wipe?

I have 2 old Android phones circa 2010-2011. One is running Gingerbread and the other Icecream Sandwich.

Neither have the "encryption" feature AKA securely wipe your Android before selling on craigslist.

That said, there are many posts on the net saying the encryption feature does NOT secure wipe your phone. Any content on the phone BEFORE you encrypted it can easily be recovered.

I am no fanboy, but Apple has had secure wipe since iPhone 3GS. All you have to do is reset all settings. boom done.

I have buyers for these old phones but I have no way of secure wiping them. Even if they were newer, I would be screwed, because they werent encrypted before hand.

Fail Android is fail.

>>
>>54449835
dont be sorry for me. Ive made thousands of dollars in the last year selling overpriced old computers on craigslist. The price im getting for these phones is a mad deal for me. People dont realize you can buy a moto e or g and they smoke these ancient phones.

Just use your phone for testing

What does /g/ think about the 3.5 mm jack being phased out?

Does anyone have a phone with a USB-C connector?

I honestly have mixed feelings for it because, its the last analog interface still in use (not that it really matters), but USB-C headphones should provide better quality, not just because you're not reliant on the built in DAC anymore but because you can draw more power for a better AMP, or have a battery powered AMP to save on phone battery usage. I just hope they make phones with more than 1 USB-C port so I can charge and listen to music at the same time.

USB C audio is analog
>>
>>54449651
It's stupid shit. Either the USB-C will be used as an analog transport for the music
_OR_
The headphones themselves will need to have an audio chip of their own, not just be speakers-mounted-to-head as they are right now.

Either way, it's the dumbest idea anyone's ever had. Audio jacks are simple and efficient. Let's keep it that way.

The $80 ones are fakes. Especially if they are """"""new""""""

if im running my cpu without overclocking it, do i really need an aftermarket cpu cooler? or is the stock just fine? only talking about air coolers not water coolers.

GF has a 3570k @stock with stock cooler in a fractal r4. Super quiet even under heavy gaming.

Fun fact: her rig which has an amd 6950 is A LOT quieter than my 5820k with a clc and my 980ti G1 Gaming. We have identical cases.

Sup tech support I got another issue.
My gpu's third fan stopped spinning for no reason that im aware of.
I get one rotation on startup but that's it.
The rest of the fans work and the card works the same as usual.

Someone told me it might be a bearing?
Regardless I don't feel like rma-ing it so I'm looking at after market coolers. Any suggestions or tips?

tldr: idk anything about after market coolers for gpus. Got any suggestions or tips?
