Hey guys I'm looking to get a personal assistant tablet.
It has to run a full OS. I found this one (8") which seems pretty appropriate, and it's size makes it reasonably portable.
In the images it doesn't seem to have any USB ports but apparently you can get an adapter. Any experience with this?

Do you give your family FOSS, /g/? My mom asked me to build her a computer so I built her a nice micro ATX one and installed Ubuntu GNOME. She likes it so far and all I had to do was do some initial configuration like installing silverlight and setting up an ssh connection I can use to unfucks hit form college.

Yo, if I've saved a photo then deleted it on an android phone is there a way to view it through a cache or file directory or something or has it disappeared from there and the only chance of recovery would be through a programme or app?
Also would simply recording a video to use up the 5% memory I have left overwrite it in a way that again can't be recovered without assistance of app or programme?
...also, one time I uploaded all my photos off my phone straight to my pc and a lot of old deleted pictures were there, in multiple resolutions.
