Hey, /g/. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but here goes.
My aging dad enjoys watching TV for several hours a day. He still has an old CRT TV, like pic related. The problem is that last time I visited, I noticed the corners of the screen were displaying wrong colours - it's obvious the old TV set has run its course, and I said I'll buy him a new TV this Christmas.
But now I'm worried. I heard CRTs are full of lead and phosphorous, and now I'm a little concerned that it's leaking and my dad is breathing more of that shit every hour. Should I remove the old TV set from his place as soon as possible?

i really doubt your crt is leaking lead and phosphorus, and if it was it wouldnt be enough PPM to really matter
buy him a nice quality color tv, dont go overkill with size and shit, maybe an older 32" led flatscreen would be cool, or a newer one, i just prefer the older ones from the 2006-2010 era because they last longer

I got one of these a while back for free from a dell precision workstation, mobo only. I was thinking about throwing a couple xeons in it and using it as a desktop. The board just has such a strange standoff layout.
Will this fit into a typical case designed for eATX boards /g/? If not what are my options? I was thinking about trying to get a hold of one of the old precision cases but they're around $60 and I'd rather get a nicer, new case.

All those values are kept track of server side, so theres really no way you can do it, unless you spoof packets and get lucky there is no server checks...
