Where to buy bleach?
I need a new antivirus because Avira pissed me off so much and I had to do so much to remove it. Im looking at AVG but Im not sure if I like it. I already have malwarebytes. Anyone recommend a better anti-virus?

my university accommodation is (i think) throttling my torrent downloads. should be getting 2-3 mbps and instead getting less 60-80kbps. What can i do? Strangely, my downloads will occasionally run at full speed, but I don't know why.
There is a chance that your university split the internet connection for multiple occupants, so you and your neighbors are sharing that 2-3mbps. If your fast time correlate to low traffic periods like during the day when everyone is in class, that could be it. Most universities either do nothing or block p2p completely (mine blocked it). Throttling seems like a weird choice unless you have a data cap.

I come here having already lost all faith in Apple products.
I own an Ipod nano, Iphone 4, 2009 Imac and 2011 Macbook.
Started using Apple with Ipod classic. I now realize Ipods are the only good thing left in Apple (and Iphones if you're just allergic to other smartphones).
Their computers are a real piece of crap.
However, I am both poor and sentimental. I cannot dump my 27' Imac and its beautiful screen.
It's now a piece of shit tho and I can't figure out why. It's gotten to the point where even the most basic task takes 30 seconds. I can't stand it.
Can you guys give me ANYTHING to identifying whats wrong with it and fixing it? I use Onyx but doesn't really help.
I've tried getting a diagnostic but holding D on launch doesn't work (???).
Here are some infos about the Imac (sorry, french)) :

Apple pretty much went downhill after steve jobs. Their macs now have nothing special except for their OSX and their misleading aesthetics. I suggest you go buy a cheap (refurbished or snag a deal) surface pro 2/3 if you have the cash. Or you can go to a technician to review it since here on /g/ it's hard for us to analyze the problem. It's a lot better than iPod, but M$ fucked up the marketing...as usual.
You were pretty much forced to use their shitty Zune media software.
Otherwise, it was a solid player, and made good use of the metro UX years before it was a thing.

Could somebody help me? My graphic card (GTS 450) just died… and my budget is around… $50. Would you recommend me something? I found the same card for $40 and GT 730 in a similar price too. I can also get a GT 210 from my friend for free, but it's a total crap and I don't want to ask too much from them… Also Radeon is not a solution becuse I use linux. Any ideas, /g/?

So I have an event this weekend were we will have some gaming PCs out for the public to play on. But the problem is we can only get internet connection through the venues free Wifi.
So instead of buying some cheap unreliable usb nano sticks I was wondering if there's a free way to do it with the hardware you already have.
Like can I connect the PC to a macbook and share the connection? Thanks for any help!

Use an old wireless router and use it as a bridge.
You could just bridge the pc to the router, wireless or wired it doesn't matter. Just connect to the network you want to share then bridge the connection to the lan or wifi card you want to have your people connect to. Make sure the PC can handle the connections, it could become a choke point.
Help me, /g/, I've convinced myself a Macbook might be a good purchase.

I kind of prefer a regular tenkeyless. I need F keys for games and the dedicated arrow keys. I do have a 60% though too. Its easy to get nice cases for them and you have less switches to switch out when changing it up.
So what does /g/ use for taking pretty screenshots in Windows?
I downloaded Aeroshot a little while ago but feels pretty clumsy having to run the exe from a folder and then select the window, etc..
