It depends on a lot of stuff. MLC or modern TLC based drives should mostly be fine, even the slower ones, if coming from an HDD. Past that a lot of it is likely to be luck - I've read that some of the Patriot SSDs for instance just flat out fail within a few hours.

Very unlikely, typically this kind of thing would happen if you are working in a datacenter with hundreds of RAID volumes.
