I'm waiting for proper packages to become available, mainly for arch. I tried using the client once and it spammed my filesystem full of shit everywhere, there was so fucking much of it, I don't even know why the hell one tool needs so much dependency junk and why it has to make such a mess.

Proper packages with clean uninstallation and a concise guide that just gives me what I need to generate a standalone cert instead of all this server-integrated bullshit and whatnot or bust.

Damn, that sucks but at least all you lost was a bunch of media. Back up your shit before you do anything to a drive with stuff on it. Better yet, just back up your shit. It doesn't feel good but you learned and important lesson today.
>>
>>51668679
Lesson learned.
Make sure comp isnt scheduled to go into sleep mode when doing shit like this.
>>
That sucks man, but encryption without backup and not checking what your OS will be doing is a learning experience at least.

I'm building a new PC. I bought the i5 4690k. I don't plan on overclocking it any time soon. Should I just save my money and use the stock fan for now and then 2 years or so down the road pick up a good water cooler?
29 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Yes.

Unless you're doing video editing or running prime95 benchmarks or something that will stress all cores the stock heatsink will suffice for gaming and basic tasks.
>>
>>51668086
similar question but if my i5 4460 goes up to 60 degrees when I gaym is it bad in the long run?
Not sure if I should bang out 40 bucks for a noctua low profile fan or if it's even worth it

Idk if I should be sharing this with you fools but get educated on this so next time you feel compelled to shit on Seagate you stop yourself from doing so.

You can repackage all your code into a proprietary version later even if you license it in GPL. Copyright holder can do whatever he wants.

* Motorola for being near stock, good quality. Customer support isn't what it was.
* LG for still offering removable batteries and SD card slots
* Oneplus if you want decent phones, but be aware they have a bad reputation for support
* Firefox fx0 for $60, it's the ultimate poorfag phone. <--- people are saying that's not true, what have you found?
* Sony for offering good performing phones, great quality, dev support. Not so available in the US.

I been working as a front-end developer for about 5 months now after finishing college. I enjoyed it at first since I was doing a lot of design related stuff and had a lot of influence over how our application looks and feel. Now I am basically doing bug fixing and trying to implement third party libraries with shitty documentation into our app. My reaction now is that I feel like I do not want to be a programmer. I think I would be much happier being a UI/UX designer. Anyone else realized that being a programmer is not their passion after working as one?

Im autistic so the monotony of programming doesn't bother me.
>>
Programming is an entry level occupation, not a profession. You're supposed to get promoted up out of it after 2-3 years at most. That's called paying your due. Comparing to other fields like engineering it's not that bad.

I enjoy being able to sit down with a nice cup of coffee and code while /comfy/.
It's relaxing, especially if you're working with an easy language like python.
