So my chair just broke underneath me after a good 3 years of service. What does /g/ recommend for computer chairs?
Pic related, looks comfy

If a gpu's recommended wattage is about 120w higher than the computer's power supply, is there a way to get it to run at a lower capacity?
I told my dad I was gonna try and upgrade my computer this christmas and he apparently just has a titan GPU lying around. My power supply's first number says it does 480W, and apparently the titan needs 600.
I don't exactly want to turn away something as big as that, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to replace a power supply either.
also, newfag question: I saw higher watt numbers below 480...

buy a new PSU. Its easy as shit to install
>>51867830
Oh okay.
Another question though. Should I pay attention to the unchecked rows on this? I'm not sure why they were included.
>>51868125
what the fuck
What are some low level ways of fixing this?
USB drive shows up but I'm unable to format it or read it or mount it.
Tried gparted and a handful of other meme tools with no success. I run windows, linux, and osx, so you can recommend any tool for any of those operating systems.
Google has been of no help, just a bunch of retards saying to use diskpark or gparted which doesn't help for this type of problem as those programs cannot recognize it either.
/g/ pls, surely someone here has a job.
gparted
change format to msdos and partition it fat32

Try it on an other computer. If that doesn't work, then it's dead.
Are game developers becoming insanely lazy and inefficient, choosing not to optimize their games at all in favor of just forcing consumers to buy more expensive graphics cards even though their games look like something from five years ago?
Did you know there is a board dedicated to discuss everything vidya, including hardware and drivers, in 4chan?
Yeah!
>>>/v/
>>51867667
Because it's a massive game running on an updated version of a 10 year old game engine .
The optimization was shit
And it was rushed af
^
>>51867475
Haven't used that in 10 years
>>51867550
me neither. I used it when I was a kid. what should I use now?
foobar and aimp
Just brought myself an Oppo r7 Plus for $550. Did I make a mistake /g/?
>Pic related, It's all the important shit
I bought lenovo k3 note for $200 with similar specs
>>51867448
Do you use it for gaming or just scrolling or anything in-between?
Jesus fuck, yes. That is awful for that price. You better be from Russia or some shit to resort to buying that.
ITS HERE
what are you waiting for, /g/?

it's going to be some shitty gaming related hardware isn't it

I got a nice surprise at work today.
I know this is more /o/ but I want to know what does /g/ think of Teslas. Does anyone own or has used one?
I think they're pretty cool. They look good on the outside and on the inside, and they seem to drive well from what I've seen. Mileage also seems to be good for an electric.
I don't want to have to manipulate every aspect of my driving experience through a touchscreen. I would have bought one by now if not for that. I like knobs.
Range anxiety is a bitch. There is no quick charge station between me and my grandparents who live about 300 miles away. Couple that with 80mph roads and it's a no go even with the largest battery. If I spend that much money on a car I should not have to look for a second vehicle to visit family.
Furthermore, electric vehicles have always seemed backward to me. I would buy an FCX Clairity in a heart beat though if they sold them outside of California (and if hydrogen stations were more common)

Is it better to create soft in c++ or c#?
Inb4 asm
if you're coding for modern windows gui, c#
if you're coding for cross-platform compatibility, c++

All of the major candidates with a few exceptions (Sanders and Paul) want to close down extremist websites like 4chan and ban TOR, VPN's, bittorrent, etc.
What are you going to do about it?
>>51866325
1. vote for sanders
2. SOCKS5
3. prepare for no knock with as many nasty surprises as i can muster in a 500 sqft apartment

Hi you guys!
I have an Amd A10 7800 APU
I was thinking of buying an R9 380
Will it bottleneck?
shameless self bumpage
>>51866254
Dumbass, there's only like 1 video card you can even do that with and it has to be the version with ddr3 RAM instead of gddr
I assume you're talking about crossfiring then cause you say dual graphics
Otherwise it depends what your doing on if you'll bottle neck the gpu or cpu
>>51866254
that depends on the ram you have.
APU's don't bottleneck much because unless its 3.5Ghz or under its not going to bottleneck.
But if your ram is a shitty 1600Mhz it will bottleneck hard.
but all you will see with the bottleneck is a fixed FPS that woun't go any higher.
mostly bottlenecking only every happens on higher end video cards because the cpu can't run fast enough to use the max bandwidth that why when you peck on your CPU your moniter just freezes up and stops working...

What's the best SanDisk between Fusze, Clip, Clip+ and Clip Zip?
>>51866586
IIRC Fuze has a full color screen, the Clip and Clip+ have a cheap Blue/Yellow display. The Clip Zip is awkward blend of a Full Color screen in the size of the Clip.
Just get yourself a Clip+, a 32GB mSD and Rockbox it. The others don't have the same amount of community support.

When I try to install this graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 1300 8 Series so I'm told). Problem 1) installing the driver I get an error saying it could find any compatible driver software 2) after doing that I unplug the computer put the graphics card in the PCI slot and the computer beeps and displays nothing. I have a windows 8 HP with a AMD A4-3420 APU @2.8GHz if thats any help. Please help.
>>51866009
given that graphics card is shittier than your APU thow it into the recycling center
Its worthless junk.
>>51866071
this to be quite honest family
I'm look to upgrade this computer for gaming but don't wanna downgrade my bank. I can play war thunder on old video card support at 30-50fps. What do you recommend for a GPU and CPU/APU?
