It can be de-botnetized but it requires some fuckery. Mostly the security/mandatory update bullshit pisses me off, but it can be disabled with tweaks to registry and services.

I just emailed amazon and got an instant refund.
Still my favorite mouse. Have had it since 2013, still runs just fine.
It's also the first mouse I've owned that's lasted for over a year. Generally the scroll wheel gives out on most mice, but I barely use it due to my keybindings.
I love the Corsair Scimitar's build quality, but hate the yellow body color, and won't give up the third mouse button that the G600 has.

Intended for users of all levels, including absolute beginners.
There are three ways to try Linux, you can:
1) Install a Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
2) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full Linux experience".
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with Linux (not recommended)
If you are serious about switching to Linux and if you have Windows dual-booted (recommended for pure newbies),
we recommend you use it exclusively for 2 weeks, and avoid Windows dual booting for that period of time, or it's
likely you will start retreating back to windows instead of getting used to GNU/Linux as your new home and working on
making it feel the way you want it.

Drag and drop simulation programs for doing your homework aren't going to help you understand basic circuit analysis the same way testbenches, practical lab experience and in-class learning will. Can't say I'm surprised though, if you're having so much trouble with babby's first circuits class, just drop out now and save your parents the money.

If you want to get an intuitive feel for EM wave propagation, look at FEM analysis like HFSS or FDTD like OpenEMS (if on Linux). It can be very eye opening to learn from a more 3-D perspective over time.

Anyone has this mouse?
I've had it for two+ years and now i'ts incredibly jittery and stutters when moving the cursor, basically unusuable.
I tried rubbing the sensor with isopropyl alcohol (just the plastic outside), then I opened it and cleared out dust and whatnot, didn't help.
I tried changing the polling rate.. and I think it did but didn'thelp either.
Anyone has this?
I also have a razer deathadder and zowie ec2 that are perfectly fine.
