So guys, I fell for the window manager meme.
I'm so done with the GNOME and GTK crap, and so I'm reinstalling Arch on my laptop and give window managers a try.
What guys suggest me to try as first window manager?
I'm quite tempted to go for Awesome+Compton, but you'll probably be more experienced than me.
Also, I have a 3k screen, so I would need a pretty HiDPI support.

Should I upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 7?
I finally got pissed off by the forced updates the other day, and I've just been getting more and more upset with MS everyday.
But, the thing is, I really love the interface of W10, the boot up time is amazing and just the modern support of things like DX12 is great, so I'm on the fence of going to Windows 7.
What should I consider/ do?

I'm being confused by GDB weirdness.
Does anyone use GDB? I learned about the TUI mode today. It works fine for a bit, until eventually it really starts messing up.
The control characters stop being interpreted correctly; they are being output to the input field. The screen stops being rendered correctly. Redrawing the screen with ^L will only seemingly fix it until I enter another command in.
I'm using xterm but the same thing happens with screen-256color.

What do you guys use for screenshotting?
I've been using Scrot but for some reason when I do selections with it, it leaves artifacts from the rectangle (see pic, that white outline shouldn't be there).
Anything as lightweight or at least any way to fix this? Scrot is great aside from this problem.
