Not so much messy in an untidy way.
But mess as "to code" just look at the amount of bare copper on some cables. Hell, some breakers have 3 inputs going into them.

I accepted an internship at a company that uses the "Agile Development" methodology.

Can someone explain what this meme is actually about? When I try looking it up, every page I find contains nothing but a large collection of esoteric buzzwords, and when I look up any of those buzzwords they're just defined in terms of other buzzwords.

Welcome to the world of Project Management. Everything is a buzzword and nothing ever actually gets done.
>>
>>53935286
But seriously, OP, it basically just means that someone is going to come to you and say "hey, we just ran into this small problem, please fix it right away."

It's the "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it" approach.
>>
>>53935286
Agile software development is a set of principles for software development in which requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing,[1] cross-functional teams. It promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery, and continuous improvement, and it encourages rapid and flexible response to change.[2] Agile itself has never defined any specific methods to achieve this, but many have grown up as a result and have been recognized as being 'Agile'.

Hey, /g/. I have a Motorola NVG589. Recently got it. I've been trying to set up Port Forwarding on it so that i can play some vidya with a friend of mine. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working. I'm at a total loss. I can set up the application under NAT/Gaming and say that it's my computer that's using it (Since this goes by device name and doesn't let you put in IPs) but that won't work. I've triple checked that it is indeed My computer that I'm saying needs it, I've made sure it's getting the right IPV4 address. It's just plain not working even when i set it up. When i try to turn on IP Passthrough, my device disappears from the list of accepted devices and i can't tell it that My computer is the device that needs the port open.

I'd very much like some help here, I've been at this for 2 days and I'm getting extremely frustrated by it. If someone could give me some help, I'd appreciate it.

>I've made sure it's getting the right IPV4 address

You setup the port forward for the IP on your lan right? e.g. on a 192.168.1.0/24 subnet, it would be something like 192.168.1.54 (NOT your public IP).

Another thing you could look at is if there's a 'DMZ' option. You could place your server in DMZ to see if it can connect that way, to try to rule out double-NAT or invisible proxy or other stupid ISP shennanigans upstream on the part of your ISP.

I've checked over every option in my router settings and no such thing as DMZ shows up.

Also, i'm not one hundred percent sure what you mean by setting it up on my lan. I'm not the most tech-savvy guy on earth, i can just do simple port forwarding and that's about it. My last router was incredibly similar to this, as in the layouts of the router settings were exactly the same and how i would port forward was exactly the same, but it's just not working the same way on this one.

If it helps, here's a picture of the router settings page

How are cable and satellite companies going to deliver 4k over the current infrastructure we have now in the US?

They're barely doing 1080p and the compression is so bad it might as well be a YIFY rip.

How bad is the bitrate going to be if they ever decide to do it?
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>53934827
they're just not going to do it
>>
>>53934827
They won't. The infrastructure just can't take it and they can't be bothered to upgrade it, as traditional television won't survive until then anyway.

I don't know about the USA, but in this country television is as good as dead. Whenever I visit my parents and the television is on I notice that simply nothing new happens. It's the same stupid faces, the same stupid shows as ten years ago.
>>
>>53934827
>YIFY meme
>implying YIFY rips were not better than 98% of the trash that would make its way onto public trackers.

Seems like you know the answer to your question: they won't. Not until the current infrastructure is more advanced. Anyway, there is barely any content being filmed in 4K yet, let alone being broadcast. You realise that for any TV production crew that has invested in the equipment necessary for making their TV series available in 1080p, it costs a lot of money to refresh their whole arsenal of cameras.

Did you seriously drop a months salary on a fucking MSI dominator! What possible circumstance would that ever be a logical option. For the price you paid, you could built your own superior gaming desktop and peripherals, with still have enough left over to buy an ultra book (rmb, Dell xps, carbon x1)
