Forgot to say in the post, but this mouse is a wireless mouse that Logitech wants to compete against wired mice.
the report rates on most wireless mice are good enough to be a non-factor these days. here is a non-exhaustive list of things that are more of a factor when you're trying to get that sicknasty headshot in your csgo game:
