What's the best OGG/FLAC/MP3 player for your buck? I've been looking at the ThinkPenguin model personally. Having an SD slot is a must.
I have a Sandisk Clip Zip with Rockbox firmware. 8gb in the device and 32 from the SD card. Only problem is I don't think they make them anymore and the new Sandisk players suck. Most smartphones can play those files and accept SD cards. IME Galaxy phones have good sound quality.

Is it just me or does w10 absolutely rape hard drives? I know they always do something when idle, indexing, checking for errors et cetera. It should not use hdd to the fullest for several minutes though, to the point where the whole system is unusable.
I've seen it happen on fresh installs and upgrades from 8. Does it install some shadow updates without any notifications? What the fuck does it do?

Can we talk about which CPU is the best price/performance?
I lurk this board and everyone seems to love the 4690K, 4790K, 6600K, and 6700K. I look at the prices for them and they are on totally different spectrums. You can get a 4690K/6600K for like $230-$250 while the 4790K/6700K is easily $330-$400. In what way is a 6700K worth $70 more than a 4790K or a $150 more than a $6600K?
It seems absolutely ridiculous. I get that the 6700K is an i7 and has HT, but when are you ever actually using that unless you're some professional who is editing images or rendering video?
To me, it seems like the 6600K is the best price/performance for top performance.
What do you all think?

Get the 4690k . I just bought a i5 4690k yesterday from amazon for $230. will be here tomorrow. I had originally got a g3258 at microcenter, but fuck that dual core meme. I can't even play new games with it. Guess I'll have to sale the pentium on craigslist or just use it for a different cheap pc.

Fucking hell, when I had this phone a few years ago it was perfect, now it's literally unusable, to the point I can't even listen to shit on Poweramp and use Chrome at the same time because Poweramp gets killed after the phone starts killing all processes as it runs out of ram.
How often you see people still rocking their ancient but still perfectly working iPhones ? Meanwhile these fucking Android even if they're ex flagships become LITERALLY unusable after a while. Now my iPhone 6s is getting repaired and I'm stuck with this unusable piece of shit, and I swear it worked perfectly just a few years ago. Of course the only explanation for this is that Google has bloated their apps so much they completely fuck over older devices with less than 8Gb of ram.
This is why Android is a pleb OS. You see your sparkly new Galaxy S6, Oneplus2, Xperia Z5 and shit like that? All unusable in 3 years tops. My iPhone 6s will last for at least a fucking decade. And if you're wondering what the fuck I used between this Sony turd and the iPhone, I used the GAlaxy S4, another flagship which was starting to become unusable and randomly reboot, so I sold it to some loser whom is probably regretting it by now.
