Isn't vector random insert supposed to be much more expensive since it has to move all the later elements and often reallocate memory and move *all* elements? With a linked list, the insertion is trivial.
So is searching the linked list just super slow because the memory isn't contiguous?

Hey /g/, my Nexus 5 is really starting to show its age. Battery barely lasts a day, UI effects are starting to feel a little sluggish, and some portions of the XDA camcorder "fix" aren't quite cutting it anymore. I've been trying to hoard some money away for when the new Nexus or iPhone drops, but I might have to get something in the interim if this thing gets any worse.
So /g/, what's the Nexus 5-tier phone of 2016 (so far)?
I'd also like to take a moment to point out that the Nexus 5 has been one of the best phones I've ever used, hands down. The fact that it is only just now beginning to shit itself after almost three years of continuous use is incredible.

Nothing really. Just use a VPN, blocklist, and forced encryption. Also learn how to identify good vs bad torrents. Low amounts of seeders and a bunch of generic 5 star comments are huge red flags, so look out for them.

I accidentally my hugest partition!
I was my by far biggest partition, with practically all my video, including all my pr0n. It's ext4. The actual partition didn't break, just the data. Most of the files are gone, though all the folders are still there, and only about half the space came back. It happened because of a moving error. fsck says everything's fine.
How fucked am I? What do?
(I know that god did this to me because of my hostile attitudes to jesus, mohammed and gay rights, I just received huge indications, not that that's of interest to anyone)

I have a OnePlus One. There is a tiny shallow chip in the center of the phone but it does not affect the touchscreen. Can I use either superglue or windshield resin to fill it in and smooth it over with a razor blade before putting a protective cover on?
I do not want to try to replace the screen because I'd probably break it, and I do not want to send it for the cost of a new phone just to repair this + waiting 30 days.
Every google search is only bringing me to how to disassemble and replace the lcd and digitizer. I don't want to do all that. I just want to fill in the shallow chip, smooth it out, and put a cover on it until the Note 7 comes out. Will resin or superglue make that area's touch screen unusable?
