Maybe divert money from your CPU to your GPU? You'll also save on the CPU cooler as non-overclock models come with stock coolers. Also literally anything can run CS go, so please fuck off with such a dumb question.

My mom has had an Ipad mini gen 1 for the last 4 years and I want to buy her a new one.She has a 16g and is so close to being out of room, so I want to grab her a 32g. What do you guys think of this one? It's the Ipad 2. It is 300 bucks, but I know a big difference is the more crisp screen and more room for her pictures and shit.

Also, Is there a way to bring all the pictures and apps from the first ipad to the second one with a cord of some sort? I mean just pictures and music.

Thing is, I would get her the ipad 4 for 30 dollars more, but its only 16g. She has been so close to running out of room on hers, mostly because of pictures and music and stuff. But some of the updates they have are so fucking big that she runs out of room

you've been making the same thread for the past few days already.

It is an upgrade and since apple borks their older version hardware with software updates she will probably see an improvement. You can do an iCloud backup to transfer files from one to the other, I'm not sure if Apple allows access to the file system through a computer so you probably won't be able to just drag and drop files from one to the other.

Why do people upgrade so often?

When was the last time Intel actually offered significant improvements other than ram speed? Was it the jump from netburst to core2?

I just finished my CPU-based tripcode searcher!
https://github.com/microsounds/tripforce

I don't have any modern hardware to test it on, so please run it and tell me how well it runs on modern CPUs. It's multi-threaded, so it should also serve as a nice benchmark.

Welcome to /fg/lt/. We are always open to users of all levels, including absolute beginners.

There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:

0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with GNU/Linux

Before asking, please search for answers to your questions in resources.

Please be civil, notice the "Friendly" in every Friendly GNU/Linux Thread.

Understand that much of your software from Windows will be unavailable, although maybe WINE can make up for it.

Heyyy the real name's back. Why /fg/lt/ instead of /fglt/ though? Oh well.

Nice job adding the website as well. Props

because the freetard fucksticks that race to keep on posting this thread can't agree on a consistent name so people can search for it
