anyway, I'm 28 using chrome, 9 years of dev experience (senior dev atm), using android just because I prefer it, using macbooks to develop and windows to play games
I've used linux for over 5 years at work 8h/day, it's cool as long as you use distros like ubuntu, fedora, mint or eOs - almost all the rest is useless and makes you lose productive time

I have the bash shell installed on Windows 10 beta, but I cannot access the Internet with the shell even though it works with Microsoft Edge. I filled out the /etc/resolv.conf with the nameservers, but I cannot create a ip route as there is not networking device to bind to. Is there a way to create a networking device node manually? Thanks. I cannot run apt-get update.

fuck this fucking meme OS, Ubuntu is supposed to be new-user-friendly, for once in my fucking life I needed this OS and it blew up in my face. I haven't even tried to do something tricky, it's literally just installing R, then installing Java, then installing rJava-package in R. So yeah, its nice to look at all ya fancy riced machines, but for productive work, this shit is useless for productive work.

I never really bothered to take good care of it for whatever reason. I replaced the thunderbolt port, the battery and the camera already, after that you kind of don't care any longer. I actually kind of like the way it ages.
