Hello /g/ays,
I am building a new rig. Please argue and fight each other on whether I should get the Sapphire R9 Fury X, or something else.
I intend on gaming mostly in 1080p in order to utilize a higher fps, but I'm looking at benchmarks and it seems like the GTX 970 (3.5GBs lol) competes adequately for almost half as much money. So where is the benefit of the Fury X over the 970?
As I said, I intend on gaming in 1080p, but I also intend on buying a 4K TV to hook up to my PC when I want to stream or watch 4K video on.
So what graphics card should I get? Should I be a total kek and go for a 970 or be a free-thinking individual and pay almost twice as much for an R9 Fury X?

Ok so I bought my laptop (Toshiba Satellite L70-B-12T) approximately a year ago and it's been a few months now that it gets really slow when I play games, especially after the Windows 10 update. The main game I play is League of Legends which doesn't require so high graphics but it feels like I am playing on a 2004 computer, even after I reduced the quality of the graphics to the minimum. I have done some reasearch and I discovered that my CPU (Inter Core i5-4210U 1.70Ghz - 2.60Ghz) is doing all the graphics work using Intel HD Graphics Family, instead of the AMD Radeon R7 M260.
Now this is when it gets weird: In the "Device Manager", under the "Display Adapters" tab I can see both the AMD Radeon R7 M260 and the Intel HD Graphics Family. I try disabling the Intel one, run League of Legends or any other game and it shows me an error that the AMD's drivers are not installed/not working properly or not exist at all. I turn the Intel one back on and the game starts as it used to before (slow as a 2004 PC).
I have reinstalled the drivers, updated them a million times but nothing seems to solve the problem. I have unistalled the Intel's drivers completely, did a clean install of everything but it is like the AMD Graphics Card doesn't exist but shows up as connected to my laptop. Is there a possibility that it might have been damaged or fallen out of position? Also I have done some performance tests using a program called "PerformanceTest 8.0 Evaluation" and I came up with the conclusion that my AMD graphics card is not responsive.

Isn't it just a huge income of tasks in a short period of time which overloads the servers, why don't they just up their servers exponentially to deal with all the tasks, would that not work?

Are DXRacer chairs a meme? I'm sick of spending $125-$175 on a chair and having the padding be completely compressed and uncomfortable after 6months to a year. If I spend the $340 on pictured, can I expect me to last this 5 years? Are there better alternatives for the price? I know they do a lot of marketing but is it actually a good product or is it the equivalent of buying beats headphones for the gaming world?

I don't think you need an i7 for what you're doing, go with a nice i5; 4690K or 660K if you want to go skylake.
With the money you saved from going with an i5, get a better graphics card, a 970 or 390.
Also for sure drop in a 250gb SSD in there, I'd go Samsung 850 Evo or Crucial BX100.
Follow this advice and you'll have a much more well rounded and better build.
