Like fuck, the only reason I had an iphone was because I loved the size which was perfect, now it's uncomfortable and was forced to upgrade due to shitty OS compatibility.
Fuck my life, this made me switch to samsung, but that doesn't mean I love samsung now and it's shitty java written OS thats slow as fuck even with x cores.

I recommend having a look at the ulefone power if thickness isn't an issue. It's around 1cm thick iirc, but has a 6kmAh battery so battery life should be pretty insane.
But feel free to do your own research and find what you like.
IPhone is just a trophy phone, most cases sold for it have a hole in the back for the apple logo, which should give you some kind of idea what group it's targeted at.

i bought a laptop 4 years ago. it was alright, but now i'm back to using a desktop as my main pc. wouldn't recommend replacing your desktop with a laptop at all, unless all you do is watching youtube videos and shitposting on 4chan.

I did for a few years but gaming started becoming a problem since it became fairly evident the large majority of notebooks have pretty awful cooling systems.
Now it's desktops for me mainly. Maybe i'll try laptops again in a few years.

I just really wanted something I can be mobile with, that's powerful and I can dock it at home and run dual monitors off it. And I felt that having a desktop and a laptop would be annoying since I'd have to reopen one thing on another when I get home or leave.

I'm all for internet freedom and free speech, I've written to local and national politicians about net neutrality laws, so I'd say I've drawn a personal line. Pro-free-speech no matter what, I'm posting this on 4chan ffs, this is the dirtiest place in the upper internet.
So when I read an article that starts (in summary) a coalition of tech industry higher ups and american security personnel come together to decide a strategy to combat ISIS online I think:
"You what, I'm fucking sick of these fuckers, I don't want to see them anymore"
So fuck them, I hope facebook, twitter, google+ and fucking myspace come together and just ban these fuckers, pick the keyword, "ISIS" and ban that shit and never let these people and their accounts, current and potential, be accessible to the public on those platforms!
If that seems like I've gone too far, think of Germany and what parts of their own culture they've banned from the public space.
Why are these multi-billion dollar companies having to rely on "whitehat" hacking groups to what they should be doing as a default?
