Because they actually have things like keys, money clips, and tools of their trade to necessitate a physical barrier between their screen and the outside world.

You, on the other hand, have nothing but your phone and tendy crumbs.
That's why.

I needed to host my Ubiquiti controller. Had this pos laying in the closet. 2.5 TDP.

It's working. It's for a Ubuiti controller. The TDP is 2.5 watts. I don't need anything blazing.

It is just sucking my soul through my asshole trying to get it set up and updated from bare metal. It updates some, freezes, restart, updates some, freezes, restart.. you get it...

I have a Q6600 and 8Gb ddr2.. I just don't don't such a build from such a small little job. Have my netbook tucked off to the side on my rack.

They mean that when you leave your computer on for literally years at a time, it won't crash using Linux, while it likely would running Windows or macOS.

Ubuntu's installer is pretty known for being "meh", you should check out Fedora.

OP here, I guess I don't care, but everyone has a device that is probably sometimes on the web and trying to render pages, now that I think about it the 4G modems probably produce 100x more heat than the CPU to interpret javascript...

Anyone have any inkling of an AMD 480 aftermarket cooler release date?

Debating on returning my 970 and picking up an aftermarket 480 instead. But it'll only work if it comes out by August.

is that based on the sapphire release date?

If it's that soon, I'd be happy to return my 970 and wait the 3 weeks to get a better card.

Wait for the novideo shills to comment and tell you 3.5GB is enough for years to come :^)

I was pretty hyped up for ARM for it's RISC architecture and low power usage (I was thinking of making me a meme handheld with my own tiny OS) but then I find out:
>most boards come with unreplaceable firmware
>almost every component has a separate backdoor OS (ThreadX for VideoCore in Aspieberry Pi for example)
>SoC producers try to lock down every single piece in fear someone will understand their shitty design and find their botnet
>can't compile your own kernels, can't get decent OpenGL performance, can't do shit because of the lockdowns
x86
>can replace firmware
>everything is accesible thru memory mapping and port i/o (except some ethernet and video cards but that's none of intel's fault, they got FOSS drivers for iGPU)
>top performance
why wouldn't Intel deserve it's monopoly? try not to get up in your feelings and respond logically

IIRC isn't the specs of ARM open source?

If that's true I can imagine it's so the competitors don't get a hold of their optimizations and cannibalize each other

Its Qualcomm's fault, someone needs to leak their PBL that's printed onto the chip.

My LG 42" Smart LED TV stopped working 6 months ago, after 2.5 years of usage. The LED backlight stopped working. The top and bottom parts light up for like 0.5 second, then go black.

So I tried to repair the TV few days ago, but it's hard to find the LED strip parts. The only one available on eBay is $100+, which isn't worth it. I don't have any electrical or soldering equipment either, so I can't just solder LEDs on. I don't see similar broken TVs up for listing on craigslist/kijiji either.

What do you guys do with a broken TV? Do you just throw it away? Do you sell the individual parts (Tcon, power board, main board, etc.)? What do?

Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

Dumping a bunch of reviews, sorry for shit lighting in photos

first we have this Autism Lock Pick set. The lock itself is good but the picks that came with it are weak abd it DOES NOT have the most important tool which is the tension wrench.

Consider the following scenario:

>A Flash-based website bans you
>Visiting the site on another browser allows you access
>Getting banned on this browser grants you a ban separate from the first.
>Each browser you use gives you a separate identity to this site.
>Reinstalling the browser and flash does not lift the ban.
>Reformatting your OS lifts the ban.
>Switching user agents in a browser you have been banned on has no effect on the ban, you're still banned.

What is this site using to identify you and manage these bans?

>You reinstall the browser and flash in a new sanbox
>Your ban remains.
