There are four ways to try GNU/Linux, you can:
0) Install a GNU/Linux OS on a VM (Virtual Machine/VirtualBox) for "safety purposes"
1) Use the Live ISO directly without installing anything, that way, you can get a "full GNU/Linux experience".
2) Dual-boot GNU/Linux with Windows/Mac (recommended if you want to learn more about GNU/Linux)
3) Go balls deep and overwrite everything with GNU/Linux
Before asking, please search for answers to your questions in resources.
Please be civil, notice the "Friendly" in every Friendly GNU/Linux Thread.
Understand that much of your software from Windows will be unavailable, although maybe WINE can make up for it.

Could I get some good font suggestions? It's mainly just going to be sitting around the terminal emulators. I'd check the font pasta more, but I don't want to go through so many. Plus there might be some more outside the pasta. I wouldn't like there to be _some_ spacing, just so long as the characters aren't humping each other.

I am interviewing for a sys admin(ish) internship tomorrow and I'm not sure what to expect--there aren't too many requirements for the job other than CS major.
One of the main parts of the job will be configuring linux servers to move everything to (from unix servers) and writing scripts (start-up, automation).
I was wondering if you guys could give me any pointers on good questions to ask or things to look up before the interview?
Sorry to bother about this I just thought it would be good to ask some people who actually know about this shit.
