I keep reading that Deluge uses a superior implementation of libtorrent than the one in qBittorrent. Any truth to this?
I used Deluge for a while, but it was really slow when trying to download through my VPN.
So now I have to use qbittorrent.

Why do many people dislike Gnome 3? It seems to do a good job with window management and looks nice to me. Much more useful than something like Unity. With a few extensions, you can make it even better (like have a dropdown applications menu).

Use Qbittorrent.
Most people actually recommend qBittorrent.
Personaly I had both run fine on my machine. I guess it just sucks to be you. Go back to your beloved uTorrent.

My switch is doing all layer 3 routing between my servers, permanent machines, client machines, and a few other VLANs, everything tagged on the port going to the ESXi server

Performance stagnated during the last 7 years, even a Core2Duo is 100% usable nowadays.
Intel Core M is more than enough for everyday tasks and only consumes 5W.
Thats why the new macbook is a perfect machine for me.
I agree that /g/ isn't giving it enough credit, especially since Apple is really good at squeezing performance out of their components.
