Is the Phenom II the best CPU AMD has ever made?

>Released in 2009

I'm still using a Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition here

The Phenom II were a better choice than the Core 2 Quad, but now it's outdated and outclassed by modern CPUs like Skylake and soon Zen.

is /g/ employed or is being neet on here just a meme? my company is hiring and so far our applicants for a front-end web dev are:

>some marketing & sales people
>a scrum master
>a product designer
>two interns
>someone who is "good in photoshop"
>a car mechanic
>or just really bad devs with a completely wrong skill set

what the actual fuck? what are your experiences like from the job seeking or hiring side?

I'm a bartender at a taproom.

I have a couple of opportunities in the works, though. Going for whichever comes through firs. Managing a new bar and grill, sales for trucking lanes, and helping run a chain of game stores. All through people I've met at my job.

As the Internet is becoming more and more full of shit, there are some confy chans just text based. So let's start an underground chans thread /g/

You need just to know how to connect those chans through ssh protocol in order to have everything working.

Just because it's a botnet, doesn't mean it also has to be shit.

Chrome = not shit botnet
Windows 10 = shitty botnet

>The M.2 socket is fucking limited to 2x PCI-e lanes
>Capped at 1 GB/s

Why the fuck z97 mobos manufacturers impose such a retarded limitation in the M.2 socket? Realistically, how hard it could have been for the M.2 socket to use x4 PCI-e 2.0 lanes instead of x2 or make it share lanes with the 16x PCI-e 3.0 slot? (and at the same time making it compatible with new 4x PCI-e 3.0 NVMe M.2s, two birds one stone)

There is literally a 1% performance hit when running a GPU on 8x PCI-e 3.0 lanes instead of 16x.

I just can't find any reasons to justify such a stupid decision, specially when the z97 has plenty of lanes that could have been used by the M.2 socket.
>>
because intel wants to jew you into a memelake cpu
>>
>>52970974
There are only so many PCIe lanes, maybe all others are populated?

The new UI is okay except when using it in low-light situations or at night on a non-retina display. I could use the Mavericks UI perfectly, but if I have to use the new UI at night I go literally blind and get headaches, even with increased contrast enabled. I don't know why, I think they changed the way they render fonts, but I just can't work with it.
