I've got two IPS monitors - the exact same model - both hooked up to the same graphics card via hdmi and both having the exact same hardware settings
(driver settings are also the same)
but they look nothing alike ...
how do you guys calibrate your multi monitor setup?
also - I might have fucked around with the windows color calibration tool a few months ago (I only had one monitor then), is there any way to reset or synchronize those settings (if they are there)?

I have the same problem, but I purchased the monitors almost a year apart. Tbh I've just learnt to deal with it, both have different wallpapers and I dont view anything on both at the same time, so I don't notice much.

Anyways, that above link is an interesting read, and, as far as I understand it, a nice "how not to built secure firmware" documentation.
What is the problem here? Retailer is not responsible for the firmware of the devices they sell. If you are worried about some shit brand camera being unsecure, then dont buy that brand. If no one buys it, retailer will not sell it. Money talks.

Philips SHP9500 vs Sennheiser HD 558
Trying to decide....I play competitive games like Counter Strike and I listen to metal / rock. I like a decent amount of bass.

Neither of them has much bass at all but HD 558 has better frequency response extension and more linear response. I'd pick it over SHP9500.
Hd558. Do the foam removal mod. Turns them into hd598. Same driver and housing. Good deal

I'm on the fence about buying an SSD. How much of a difference in load times does it make? 100$ is a lot to spend to get 20 second boot times vs 1 minute boot times. If I get the little 250GB one, I'd probably be putting my OS's and some programs like photoshop on it. Will that really save me significant amounts of time? I'm a poorfag, so I have some skepticism as to whether the difference is worth it, but I'm open to being sold on the idea.
Literally nothing worth upgrading to right now.
