You defined operations and you are calling operation
OPERATIONS

Nice code.
>he connects to 4chan via the https:// protocol
>the same protocol used to secure financial transactions and other critical communications worldwide
>he thinks he's not "safe" from eavesdropping
>he thinks he's "being watched"
You do realise the authorities can court order your financial records, that you sent using HTTPS? You do realise that HTTPS says not enough about a Web server's security as it says nothing about whether it still uses SSL (deprecated as per IETF RFC 7568) instead of TLS (namely 1.2), or which weak cipher suites the Web server supports?

There's not really even any proof that it matters in America... well until TPP passes but then a lot of countries will be fucked.
Why do a lot of people on /g/ hate Fedora linux? The fedora meme is no valid reason unless you are a child and can't objectively judge a distro.
>>52400870
I kinda like not to be guinea pig for corporations.
Also I do work on my computer, can't afford for unstable unnecessarily bleeding edge stuff meant to be a testing ground.
Its called a fucking FEDORA.
"There's two kinds of linux distros. Those that people hate, and those that no one uses."

A lot of people here use it. You need to stop listening to the loud memers

Thanks for the reminder. I do need to set-up a back-up system.

do you back up to a physical hard drive or a cloud server?
One 480 GB SSD or two 240 GB SSD?
One 2TB SSD
50 50 GB PATA drives
240 if its just for operating systems and small programs/small games. Get external for files. Games/programs. At least 1Tb
What is functional programming good for except writing one-liners?
Writing entire programs
Writing clickbait blog posts.
Making ideas from the 60's and 70's seem new by changing their name and syntax.
Abusing mathematical terminology.
Confusing the map with the territory.
What is provability?

I'm sorry you're too much of a noob to install Arch, anon. Best stick to ubuntu, eh?

Guys what should I choose out of these two:
Core 2 Duo E4700 $170
FSB 800 MHz
Core 2 Duo E7600 $165
FSB 1066 MHz
The most important thing is that the cpu will run at FSB speed of 800 MHz in both cases ,due to chipset limitation.
Ofcourse I will buy used so prices will be less.
Depends on the multiplier and cache sizes.
>>52400499
Please elaborate,
I will list any details you need ,just tell me.
If you even can get that e7600 working in a 800fsb motherboard it will run at 2.3ghz at stock. It does have 1mb more of l2 cache though.
I'd just use the e4700 desu senpai.
Someone explain function pointers in C to me
Explains function pointers in C to OP.
It is a pointer to a function.
They're a pointer to the subroutine that they abstract. The type and calling convention are responsible for setting up the call correctly.

Hey /g/, beginner-intermediate programmer here wondering if I should bother picking up C or C++ as a programming language.
Some things I already know:
- Java
- Ruby
- Python
- PHP
- Javascript/HTML/CSS
- Bash
Discuss C vs. C++ and your opinion on if I should pick one (or both) of them up.
>>52399771
Knowing how to write for loop, doesn't mean you know the language. Focus on them a little more, instead of jumping on the new one
>>52399798
I have basic to intermediate programs written in each of them using basic data structures.
I would be learning C/C++ for educational purposes rather than utility. Mainly to get a grasp on more complex data structures (binary tree, graphs, etc)
>>52399771
Learn how to program, not the language themselves.
Just use Python or whatever and do projects in it.
When you have learned programming then picking up syntax is piss easy.
meymey thread only the dankest memes

If you dont mind google spying on you or loosing your files when your account gets hacked or suspended, it's not too bad. Fairly competitive pricing too if you need lots of storage.
