Is there a site, service, or app that keeps track of your interests for you? Like you give it the bands, authors, game devs, directors, actors, etc you like and then you get alerted when they release a new album, new book, new film, or new game?
You could do it with google alerts but then you'd have to sort through all the press shit like tours, previews, etc when you really just want to know when there's new content.

What prevents a minotaur from attempting a resolution far outside of its range?
At its best I assume this prevents a monitor exploding from attempting a 9! roselution, though I've seen it go the other way where the cracked out auto-resolution feature picks some wonky as fuck off-center decision and gives you like a third of the screen after it locks in.

I'm looking to buy a server to host a large amount of data (~1 TB) for my friends. I'm pretty broke, though, and so am looking for the cheapest alternative. Since it will just be a few friends accessing it, the server can have low-end performance. It also would not be the end of the world if it broke down after about a year.
Any advice?

/g/ I know you hate tech support threads but I'm stumped. I just got a new power supply in for my pc, wasn't getting anything on my monitor, so i tried ruling out power first. Now I still have no video, and everything on the pc is fetching power except the video card. I put the video card in another pc and it gets power fine. If the processor is getting power shouldn't the video card? Could it be the motherboard or did I just setup the power supply.

If it's a device that costs over two grand when new and it's still in mint condition I would pay something for that. You know you're getting a device that was meant to be premium so there has been extra effort in making it. No cheap shortcuts taken.
